We were there for 3 nights and felt very comfortable. Okay, we also like to walk because it's a good 2km to the town. Great view from the balcony, it's right on the Wisent, perfect for hikes and bike tours. Dinner is great above all the trout.We felt very welcome there with our dog and the boss makes a lot of effort...perfect for brewery tours in the Franconian region...highly recommended

Beautiful, simple, quiet guesthouse, right on the Wiesent. You can go hiking directly from here, and there is also a bike path right next to the hotel. The price-performance ratio was very good and the food was varied and good. The room was large, had a balcony and a nice view.We were impressed by how the owner ran the guesthouse almost alone and also cooked well.We'd love to come back.

Poor value for money, 90€/night for what you get, way too expensive.Room was old, worn and not really clean, bed sagging, doors dragging on the floor, very noisy. Breakfast wasn't anything special either

We have been going to the Waldpension alone and with our son (now 14 months) for two years and are extremely satisfied. We are always warmly welcomed and our son is really looked after and is really happy when we arrive. The food and hospitality are more than a given. For these two reasons we will always come back.<3 the Quapils

Cozy, family-run guesthouse in a great camp. “Hats off”, the owner is the good spirit here and looks after the guests very well. In this beautiful environment you don't have to get your food on the table straight away like in a fast food temple. Homemade is just homemade and takes time. Rooms are very clean and equipped according to our expectations. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to the next time! Thank you for the hospitality:

We wanted to spend five wonderful days in Franconian Switzerland. In the end there were seven. The evening we arrived there was a lightning strike. The guesthouse's electronics were damaged, but the landlady had everything put back in order within a short time and with outside help. So everyone quickly forgot about the shock. Our car broke down on the second day. As a result, we spent wonderful days with our dog at Pension Rabeneck. The food was always tasty and sufficient. The rooms are well equipped and were always very clean (despite dog hair). We also really enjoyed the terrace. The view is awesome. The landlady became a very good friend during her days there. She helped us with our car and took us to the workshop. The guesthouse server also kindly offered help. The landlady also drove us there when we picked it up. I don't think that's a given. She also gave valuable hiking tips. All in all it was beautiful and pleasant here. We'll definitely be back. And our dog is looking forward to seeing you again. Thank you for everything.

Old-fashioned but very nice there... Located in the middle of the forest, if you like peace and quiet then this is exactly the right place for you

The food is great. I really like the “Müllerin” trout. But not just this one dish. Also ice cream and delicious cakes. Service is very important here, which also makes the stay very pleasant. I'd love to come back there.

A clear case for Rosin the restaurant savior!! Although we visited the restaurant shortly before the kitchen closed, we were greeted warmly. We were confirmed that we would still receive warm food and that this would not be a problem. The menu was clear, which is fine. The drinks and food were served quickly. Then came the disillusionment. The side salad with cheese cubes, corn, cucumber and iceberg lettuce was a loveless joke. The main course consisted of frozen food from the deep fryer! In my case, cordon bleu was served with croquettes without sauce. My wife's vegetable schnitzel with croquettes was just as tragic. Any third-rate chip shop can do this better. Hunger just drove it in. It's a shame I can't give a better review. The location of the location is actually very good. But with this cuisine and the 80s flair, I unfortunately don't have a good feeling about the continued existence of this business.

Stopped there out of necessity, as many restaurants are closed on Tuesdays.The food is frozen and comes from the deep fryer. The taste was subterranean. There was no sauce with croquettes; the vegetable meatball tasted like a deep fryer.The innkeepers would be better served with red and white fries and a currywurst. You can't really go wrong there. The landlady was very nice and accommodating, but the older lady in the kitchen probably developed kitchen dementia during the Corona period, we haven't had such a bad meal in a long time.Sorry, but please change the culinary direction, otherwise it will go in the wrong direction.Franconian cuisine and good food tastes different!

A friendly guesthouse in Franconian Switzerland with a great view of the Wiesent. I really enjoy visiting this guesthouse when I'm traveling with my BMW. The friendly atmosphere and peace are like balm for the soul. The coffee and cake always taste very good. Recommended.
