We had 7 of us. Our headquarters were in the servants' quarters and I can only say, unsurpassed. Wolfi brought us drinks because we didn't have a car, which is not something we take for granted. We went on 2 wonderful motorcycle tours through the Thuringian Forest and ended the evening outside with a barbecue.The house, absolutely rustic and well maintained, ancient half-timbered buildings, beautiful!We would always come back.A word about the two 1* reviews from probably the same guests. The servants' room is a beautiful half-timbered house with rustic charm.The accommodation is ideal for families and friends who want to have a nice time together in Thuringia.The hosts gave us a warm welcome and we didn't miss anything.The time we spent together in nature and especially in the beautiful courtyard of the accommodation remained deeply in our memories.Highly recommended!See you again. :)

Ideal for families and groups of up to 8 people. Very good facilities with a rustic, cozy atmosphere. Friendly hosts. Also suitable for socially open-minded couples, as the sociable courtyard with barbecue invites you to spend time together.

Traditional Thuringian accommodation with loving furnishings and warm hosts. We particularly liked the cozy courtyard with a barbecue area, which you can use not only for a leisurely breakfast but also for a shared barbecue in the evening to end the day sociably. Particularly suitable for a nice family reunion or smaller circle of friends. The party room and party service available directly on the farm also allow you to plan a nice time there. The village and the surrounding area offer beautiful landscapes for hiking, cycling, swimming and exploring.

We spent a fabulous family week in the servants' room!View of the beautiful nature of Thuringia, in a traditional half-timbered house; That alone has its charm but above all the hosts are worth mentioning, you couldn't feel more warm and welcome 🙂🥰Warm hospitality, great location for morning and evening picnic walks on the hills,And a beautiful courtyard decorated with flowers and plants, which invites you to linger and have a barbecue.The house is on a main road but is quiet at night.There are several swimming lakes nearby and many excursion destinations.In summary, a great accommodation for family and friends holidays.

We spent a week with the family in the beautiful Trusetal. The holiday apartment is located in a well-kept and restored half-timbered house in the center of the village. The location is great for going to various sights for day trips. The village itself is located in a very scenic valley, surrounded by smaller mountains, which are ideal for hiking and cycling.There is a cozy seating area with a barbecue in the property's courtyard. The pavilion, surrounded by vines, is a wonderful place to enjoy long summer evenings.I would particularly like to highlight the incredibly friendly landlords of the accommodation, who were always available to help.Very happy again👍🏻

We had a wonderful week and were able to thoroughly enjoy the small village and the surrounding nature. The landlords were very friendly and accommodating. The house offers a lot of space and has great facilities, we didn't miss anything. The highlight is the beautiful and lovingly maintained inner courtyard, where you can sit outside in the evening and end the evening.

We've never had such bad hosts. We were in the smaller apartment and every evening we were treated to the conversations of our neighboring guests from the larger apartment from the terrace below our windows until late into the night. Multiple requests for consideration were ignored. The hosts don't care at all about the well-being and sleep of their guests. Too bad. We are very disappointed and would advise against anyone who wants to be treated decently on their holiday.For six evenings in a row (!) the night's sleep was disturbed by loud conversations and laughter. I was able to count how many beer bottles were opened and listen to my mother wondering at half past eleven at night why her son-in-law was spending €6.80 on 10 cigarettes and many more conversations. With the window closed. If the landlords of a holiday apartment think this is reasonable because you are in the “centre of the village”, then everyone after us should be warned. And in the center of the village there is no statutory night quiet? Ha-Ha.

The smaller apartment is only suitable if you are a heavy sleeper or have no neighbors in the large apartment, because the shared terrace is unfortunately right in front of the apartment and the half-timbered building is very noisy.Unfortunately, multiple requests to the other guests and the landlord to keep the night's quiet were not responded to...it's a shame, because the place actually has a lot of potential.

We were in the area for a long weekend and chose this accommodation. We have not regretted this decision. Despite the fact that the accommodation is right on the main road, it is not loud at all and you can sleep peacefully.You can also reach many sights from the location easily and without long travel times.We can recommend this accommodation with a clear conscience.We'll definitely be happy to come back!!!

We were here for the second and certainly not the last time. The holiday home offers everything you need to feel good, simply very comfortable. Very nice landlord, everything sparkling clean, parking space in front of the house included, many beautiful excursion destinations in the area. See you next time

We stayed in the servants' room on Easter weekend with 4 adults and 4 children aged 2 to 11. The house has sleeping space for at least 8 people and 3 bathrooms. It's well equipped - everything we needed was there. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, so we couldn't use the lovely outdoor area. There is a bakery nearby with very tasty bread rolls and many excursion options. All in all, the price-performance ratio is good and we can definitely recommend the servants' room.

We, 2 families with 2 children each, really had a great stay in the servants' room in Trusetal!This rustic house lacks nothing, there is definitely enough sleeping space for at least 8 people, the bathrooms are well equipped!Outside, a great covered seating area invites you to linger for a long time, and there is also a grill.We really liked it and would definitely recommend this accommodation!Best regards to the landlady.Schindler family and Hennig family
