Despite the reservation, we were left outside and the “Italian” mafia with an S-class was served first1 star is still too many. I would prefer not to give one at allThe food was sprinkled with Febrece room air freshener at the table.The bruschetta tastes as if it was used as a cement substitute in the GDR. At first I thought I was chewing on Stone Age bones, given the consistency.I would be interested,How high is the minimum wage in Italy?But for Meininger's conditions the whole overall picture fits

We spent 2 nights at Villa Colloseo with several people.Very nice, clean rooms. New and tastefully renovated.Daily room service👍.We had a delicious meal in the restaurant and were treated very friendly and accommodating! Thank you so much that we were able to eat late with several people at short notice!We were there with several dogs and were treated extremely friendly!THIS is how I imagine hospitality! Thank you very much - we would love to come back!Parking situation quite difficult due to the city center location.

Supper service, great staff, beautiful decor, etc. I had dinner there with my family today and it was fantastic. I'm shocked. It was so great to eat such good food again!😄😍

Very clean and nice rooms. Breakfast 3.5 points. Food in the restaurant 4.5 points.5-6 tables in the outdoor area covered with an awning.

Hotel Rooms: Simple & New; There are house rules in the room! I've never had to read something like that in 30 years of field service. There was a legitimate complaint that ended in an unpleasant exchange of words.;-(Restaurant: The marketing concept suggests that I am an Italian restaurant (but the operator and owner are not from the Italian province) so the Italian ChiChi is missing ;-) although the dishes tasted good, the wine selection is very clear

Caution! Unfortunately, people here are treated like cattle for slaughter: first left standing for a long time, then barked at. When I “checked in” (if you can even call the process that here) I was first allowed to wait 20 minutes. Then an employee came who - no joke - looked at his screen completely motionless for ten minutes. In between he asked my name five times. The furnishings of the rooms are somewhat reminiscent of prison cells. When leaving the hotel, several guests could not find the exit. Two doors were locked. We were then attacked for this. I definitely won't come back here. (Addendum: As the owner's reaction shows: NOBODY is really welcome here. There are much better hotels in Meiningen. Incidentally, I was in no bad mood. The guesthouse's reaction only suggests bad things, for example if people with a different skin color were to " Accommodation” will then probably simply be said that this guesthouse is “not suitable for people like you”.)

Newly renovated guesthouse with very nice rooms. Delicious breakfast and very good dinner, lots of choice. Very friendly staff. And the rooms were very clean!!!The price is really okay. We can really recommend this guesthouse.

We chose this accommodation for a short trip in and around Meiningen. From our point of view, the decision was spot on. The hotel is centrally located in Meinigen with its own parking space, the rooms (4) were all newly furnished and clean. Check-in worked smoothly even at later hours.There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel which we used in the evenings. We were thrilled here too.We really liked it and would definitely visit this facility again if we were looking for accommodation in the region again.
