And it was really nice again, our stay at the Pension Carmen.A family-run guesthouse where hospitality is the top priority, be it the extra requests for food or the pillow. In this guesthouse you get historical knowledge about the country and its people, as well as insights into the history of the house. And if you run out of ideas about what's worth seeing, then mother and daughter are also great advisors.The most important thing about this guesthouse is the friendliness and the fact that there are always nice conversations, the food is always freshly prepared and delicious. And the tarts and cakes, also homemade and not so sweet, are just something you should try. The guesthouse is not big, but the rooms are tastefully decorated. When you come to breakfast in the morning, you will find a lovingly laid table with everything your heart desires. And if there is still a wish, then it too will be fulfilled. Simply class. The house also includes Fridolin, a cute 14-year-old cat who chooses his friends himself. He joined us every evening.If you are looking for a family, loving and quiet guesthouse, you have come to the right place.We would like to take this opportunity to thank Carmen and Kerstin and are already looking forward to seeing you again.Jochen and Petra Augen

We were with Carmen and Kerstin about a week ago...for the first time. You are welcomed as if you have known each other as friends for years. First impression. Great and we really like something like that. You're already building something up. The boss Kerstin always has an open ear, you can always ask questions, express your wishes, have conversations...that's what I call customer friendliness and simply being looked after. Class. And when mom Carmen makes her solyanka... crazy hammer... then we feel really at home. The accommodation is small in terms of the number of rooms, but it's very good because everything isn't overcrowded and you can really has his peace. Vacation, right? Everything clean and nicely done. The food for breakfast was simply great, enough, fruit, tea... they always asked if there was anything else they wanted. Simply great. You can also have dinner on site. As already mentioned, Mom Carmen cooks everything herself and that's how it tastes. Just really, really good home cooking. Drinks are also provided, wine, beer, whatever is available.You can even take your beer with you and enjoy it on the balcony.We'll be back. Thanks to Kerstin and Carmen for the great time. Incredibly nice, lovely hosts.

Visited Carmen for the second time this year and Kerstin was just like coming home. Always nice and friendly, clean rooms, great breakfast (leaves nothing to be desired) nice beer garden to relax in. Many excursion options around the Trusetal. Simply great.

Even though I now run the risk of being forced to book earlier due to my post...The reception itself was extraordinary. It feels like arriving with friends. The owners put their heart and soul into it every day and fulfill the "service concept" absolutely 100% and with joy. You don't see that so often these days.The guesthouse is in a quiet location, just right for people who want to escape the everyday hustle and bustle. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, the dinner is freshly prepared and if you have special requests - just ask!You definitely have to try the cake - homemade - like grandma used to make!....Thank you very much again!We will definitely and happily come back!

You feel like you're at home!From arrival to departure everything was great.The rooms are comfortably furnished and the view from the balcony is beautiful. You can hear the nearby stream rushing.The extensive breakfast is particularly great. Individual wishes are taken into account here. Top!In the evening you can choose from a manageable number of home-style dishes on the house menu. Everything visibly self-made.We would love to come back and would be happy to recommend!

A beautiful little guesthouse. Everything was just right here.The rooms were very quiet, clean and spacious, nothing was missing in the bathroom, not even the hairdryer, which is particularly important for me as a woman.The landlady Carmen and Kerstin her daughter are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good. Particularly noteworthy is the very usual and varied breakfast; we didn't miss anything. If we end up in this region again, we will definitely come back to Pension Carmen.

Was here for a photo assignment and luckily there was still something available here.Very warm and cozy atmosphere, a real effort is made here without it looking like it, with a lot of attention for the guests and everything is great all around.I know where I would go again if I ended up here👍
