We spent two wonderful weeks on the adventure farm.The farm itself is located in the middle of a picturesque landscape consisting of forest and meadows. You can start beautiful hiking tours directly from the farm. Due to the good location in the Bavarian Forest, many other excursion options or hikes are also very easily accessible.The farm itself has a lot to offer in terms of animals. In addition to cows and calves, there are also horses, ponies, cats, rabbits and a goat. Every day from 5 p.m. you can help with the stable work and also sit on the horses.You can ride something once a week, although the length can vary depending on the number of interested parties/guests.In addition to a football game, there is also a barbecue on Monday and you can sit around the fire with the other guests and the host family.A guided mini-hike is offered on Tuesdays, followed by a stop.A tractor ride is also offered, although I find the prices a bit too high (4 euros per child and 7 euros for adults - as of 2024).The apartment was very well equipped. The very extensively equipped kitchen is integrated into the living and dining room. The two bedrooms are also completely sufficient in size. There is a desk in the children's room. Particularly noteworthy are the fly screens on at least one window per room. Fly protection would certainly also be an advantage in the bathroom.The bathroom offers a spacious shower and two sinks as well as a toilet.An additional toilet completes the apartment. If you want to enjoy the beautiful summer evenings, you can do so either on the spacious balcony or on one of the many seating options in the courtyard.Drinks can be purchased on the farm and bread rolls are delivered to the apartment door every morning after ordering.In short: you can really go on holiday here and switch off from everyday life. We have rarely been as relaxed as we were after our stay here.For children there is also a play barn with a table tennis table, table football and a hayloft as well as climbing opportunities.There is also a small forest playground, but it needs a bit of an overhaul.There are also swings, seesaws and a playhouse in the yard.Where there is a lot of light, there is also a little bit of shadow.The mattresses could be a little harder and the duvets could also be a little thinner in summer.When it comes to waste disposal, you have to take your packaging waste to the disposal company yourself.Nevertheless, I can 100% recommend a holiday at the Achatz adventure farm.

We stayed with our children, twins 3 years old, big child 6 years old, for a week in a large apartment with a balcony. The vacation was simply fantastic. The yard is clean and safe for children. There are many, many game options. Many animals. Drinks can be bought cheaply on the farm and bread service is available. The landscape around the yard and the view from the balcony is great. I was able to watch a deer up close for two hours from the balcony. Nature and activity with children are perfectly combined. We will be back.

We were here with our children (2 and 4 years) for the first time.The accommodation was absolutely great. There was nothing that could have been missing.The farm is fantastic for children - the animals are right outside the door. From the play barn we went directly with the slide onto the meadow and to the forest playground. Already on the farm one adventure follows the next:Every day the children were allowed to take part in the stable work and there were adventure evenings with tractors, campfires, horseback riding,...There are plenty of great things to do nearby.You feel very welcome and the hosts are extremely friendly.We definitely want to come back because it was a perfect vacation for us.

We have been there several times and have already booked again. Why? Because it's just perfect all around. The central location invites you to do great activities, the farm is very clean and the best thing is the landlords. You feel right at home.
