Very nicely located historic hotel. Very friendly reception. Rooms nice and spacious. Mattress a bit hard, but it worked. The old tube televisions could be replaced, but that doesn't necessarily make things worse. Gladly again.

A very nice and quiet hotel. Wonderful place to relax. Breakfast was plentiful, location and environment at its best. The boss was always friendly and there to answer questions. The cleanliness was also good. The 4 days were at its best. THANK YOU

If you want to switch off, this hotel is the right place for you, very quiet location, somewhat rustic rooms, otherwise great breakfast with an all-round pampering program, dogs are also allowed there and there is a large yard where they can run around without a leash

After the many good reviews from families, I can add that this hotel is also highly recommended for business travelers!A very charming hotel with very lovingly designed corridors and lounge areas, almost an acknowledgment of the history of the house and its most famous guest, who was also the namesake... The owner of the hotel deserves a special mention, who is very accommodating and gave me a personal touch prepared reception. The absolute highlight was the breakfast (I was the only breakfast guest that day), which I was offered, and I would like to thank you again for that!

For a little break we visited the Fröbelhof for 4 days. We really liked it, the operator is extremely nice and friendly and gives lots of tips for excursions. The buffet was rich, fresh and delicious - we didn't miss anything. If you need a break from stressful everyday life and want to really unwind, this is the place for you. Contrary to other reviews, the "TV from the 1990s" didn't bother me - we don't watch TV and prefer to fall into bed after a tiring day. :-) In my opinion, the hotel is particularly recommended for people who want to escape the media noise and the hustle and bustle of today. The Fröbelhof is a place of relaxation and peace - here you can "ground yourself" and really relax. You feel like you've been transported back in time, which I personally find very positive. What I was missing was the swimming pool, which is not open at the moment, and perhaps a few treatments - that would have been the icing on the cake for a successful short vacation - but of course all of this has to be economical for the operator...All the best for the future !

I was here for 5 days and it was a wonderful time. In the evening the owner showed us everything and was very welcoming.About the room: It is a fairly spacious, but old room. Especially the old television. I'm still a teenager and have never used it, but I still don't like it. A hard and soft mattress was available. The breakfast is great, with scrambled eggs and cocoa every morning.There are also two towers with armchairs and couches with a view of the ruins of Liebenstein Castle. There are many activities in the area, especially hiking. There is also a lounge in the building with a pool table and a football table, which was broken at the time.Internet is not that good.

We stayed at the Fröbelhof for one night and were very excited. The rooms are simple but cozy, the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet location and perfect for relaxing. The operator is very friendly, we respect her because she takes care of everything on her own! There is something for everyone at the breakfast buffet.Everything is very lovingly furnished and there is a warm atmosphere. Dogs are also welcome here and have the opportunity to let off steam in the hotel's own courtyard.We would love to come back!

Very friendly, everything clean and well maintained. But at least my room was very, very simple. Unfortunately, the tube television from the 90s didn't cut it either. Okay for 1 night, but actually too expensive for this simple facility.

Historic building with an interesting story! Very friendly welcome and super rich breakfast! Unfortunately, our room, which was quite large, had a bit of a hospital feel to it. A few updates (e.g. newer televisions) certainly wouldn't hurt here. Otherwise everything was great: someone could be reached directly by phone and we were able to spontaneously book a room for 1 night. Quiet location, free parking, knowledge and tips about the area (Park Altenstein is really awesome). I wish the super nice owner all the best!

We were at the Fröbelhof for the second time and would like to come back soon because we have found a wonderful place where terms such as sustainability, value, tradition and hospitality are not just empty words.Froebel's pedagogy is omnipresent in the hotel, which is run with passion by the owner. The owner looks after her guests and spoils them with a very good breakfast.

A very royal hotel, very nice and warm welcome.The breakfast buffet is super rich and totally tasty. The coffee is also absolutely delicious.I'm already looking forward to my next stay.
