A wonderful stay at Hotel Tweed in SPO!The Hotel Tweed boasts an excellent location, just a few steps from the seafront promenade. Thanks to its proximity to bus stops and the clinic, it is ideally located for getting around with ease. The free parking lot with electric charging station makes it possible to reach more distant places like Büsum by car without any worries. Our tip: Next time we bring our bikes, the number 1 means of transport in SPO.Our room, the “Nauty Bits” suite, was bright, very large and even had its own “living room”. The maritime furnishings in shabby chic style round off the ambience perfectly. The Münster family are super friendly and lovely hosts. A special thank you goes to Mr. Münster for the great welcome and the introduction to SPO. The idea of breakfast in the room is a concept that we really celebrated. It was a pleasure to be warmly woken up with a tray containing our favorite tea, fresh rolls and homemade jam.For dinner, there are many great culinary options outside of the beach promenade in SPO and the surrounding area. We're already looking forward to coming back sometime.

The first impression from outside, very pretty and well maintained, as well as in the entrance. The first surprise, it's only a continental breakfast for a breakfast price of 24€. Since I'm not allowed to eat rolls etc. for health reasons, I asked for egg dishes and no rolls, as eggs are cheaper anyway. Answer: Eggs are more work, I have to book them separately, they would come to an agreement (of course we didn't). Swapping the continent. Breakfast on the Irish breakfast, costs €5, it was mentioned as if you were “exchanging” it. The rolls are over-baked and not the best. The omelette left me speechless on the last day, people all over the world know what an omelette is, but not here (see photo)We were horrified and disappointed every morning. The breakfast table is much too small. We had enough space in the bedroom, but the closet is very small for a holiday region, the door doesn't close because the hangers are too big for this closet. The sofa is small and sufficient for two slim women, but questionable for overweight people. There are metal chairs and a table outside, but there are no seat cushions. Even if it's warm outside, you don't want to sit on rusty, cold chairs. We were disappointed!

Sweet, small and familiar hotel in the Bad district. You can reach the most important things (restaurants, shops, post office, beach, bike rental,...) within walking distance. The welcome was very warm and friendly and the room was lovingly furnished and decorated. There were some minor flaws, but that is normal when used. Breakfast is served in the room, which we really liked. There was enough quantity for the two of us, there were fresh rolls, jam, sausage/cheese, butter and coffee/tea. You can choose to book additional items (cereals, egg dishes, fruit...) or an Irish breakfast. There are parking spaces for each room in front of the house. The only mini "criticism" (if you can even call it that) is that the room right next to the reception is a bit noisy and you can hear the conversations or someone standing outside can hear them in the room. Maybe this can be solved with insulation on the door. The mirror in the bathroom is a little too high for short people, but this can be easily compensated for with the large mirror in the anteroom. We are very satisfied and were able to really enjoy our vacation there!
