Thank you for two relaxing days with my dog. Tastefully furnished rooms with a kettle and various tea or coffee, a sumptuous breakfast with everything your heart desires. Dogs stay in the room during breakfast, perfectly located towards the exit so that no other guests with dogs are bothered.The hotel has a separate parking lot and is ideally located to the bridge over to the sandbank, so that you are not bothered by bandstands or night-time tourism.

A super cozy hotel with lots of loving details. In the middle of town. It is only a few steps to the pier and the dune thermal baths. The rooms are spacious and modern and the champagne breakfast is simply great. Price/performance is right.We'd love to come back.

The room was clean. The hotel has a large parking lot and is very centrally located. The staff was very friendly.

We were here for the third time. This time, however, we had the smallest room, with the worst view of the parking lot. So not a good price/performance ratio. and at 26 degrees winter bed linen. That's why there is no full number of stars this time. Breakfast is great as always.

Nice hotel in a best location. We stayed here for 2 nights on the occasion of the wine festival in SPO Dorf. And this is already the second time.The staff is very friendly. The rooms are well equipped and clean!Just as you would expect for €200/night.You can look forward to breakfast every morning! There really is nothing left to be desired here!If there is something to complain about at a high level, it is perhaps that the surrounding shops are delivered by truck at 7:00 a.m. and it feels like they are driving right across the room. But please, after 15 minutes the “haunting” was over and you had peace again.We would come back!

My two small children and I have now spent 3 nights in a double room with an extra bed and felt very comfortable.The rooms are lovingly furnished, it is very clean and tastefully decorated and the breakfast is great: not much, but a little of everything.There is even a snack bar based on trust.There are plenty of restaurants in the area for in between meals or in the evening and the pier is quite close.The only thing my children didn't like was the length of the pier, but the beach castle can't do anything about that 😅

On a Whitsun weekend trip with the motto "just go somewhere" we somehow ended up in St. Peter Ording towards the evening of Whitsunday. Had a drink at a beach bar and decided we liked the place and wanted to spend the night here.The waiter recommended a place to stay, but it was fully booked. There we were recommended to try the nearby beach castle. Looking back, it was a stroke of luck!The reception was already closed, but there was a telephone number posted that gave us contact with the “lady of the castle”.The formalities were quickly clarified.200 euros including breakfast.I travel to hotels a lot for work and find the price more than reasonable.The room was spacious and clean.There was a balcony and enough space to stay in the room and feel comfortable.For your physical well-being in the house there was a self-service bar on a trust basis and a free bottle of red wine was available in the room as a welcome.There was an Italian restaurant right next door that we enjoyed.The breakfast was a small but nice buffet. No carelessly formally lined up slices of sausage and cheese, as is usual in hotel chains, but a beautifully designed journey of discovery with a great variety. The selection was always kept complete.I like it when hotels have their own personality and a connection to the location. Hotel chains that appear as almost identical non-places all over the world are anathema to me.In the Strandburg you are in a real place, right in the middle of it all.Everything is within walking distance. Shopping opportunities, bars, the beach and of course the seemingly endless salt marshes that invite you to take a walk.Parking spaces are available directly at the hotel.My impression was consistently positive!You can tell that the beach castle is run with passion and competence.Gladly again!

We (couple, mid-70s) stayed at the Hotel Strandburg a few years ago. And again a few days ago for two nights. We really liked it in every respect: friendly hotel staff; everything very clean; very best breakfast.
