A very simple but very clean hotel on the edge of Mihla. The location is great, right on the banks of the Werra. We received a friendly welcome and were able to easily store our bikes in a shed. 😊

The food was very good. Maybe it's enough for one night. But you shouldn't make big demands.

The first impression when we arrived was sobering. The exterior view was in great need of overhaul. But the friendliness of the staff initially lifted our spirits. What stood out, however, was the preparation of dinner in a cozy dining room. The Rostbrätel with fried potatoes was very well prepared. I have rarely eaten it so well. I would also like to emphasize that you can quickly get to many sights.To Mühlhausen about 30 minutes, to Eisenach about 40 minutes and to Wartburg about 45 minutes.So in conclusion, if you are looking for a quiet yet eventful holiday, this is the right place for you.Thanks again Bernd and Gabi

The surroundings are very beautiful, quiet and you can enjoy nature all around! You can rent boats opposite and explore the river and the surrounding area

A very friendly employee of the estate welcomed us promptly at 6 p.m. and showed us the large, bright room. Nothing was missing and the external impression of the house is deceptive because the interior is absolutely modern.The dinner that followed was particularly nice, which we didn't necessarily expect. There is still a supermarket in Mihla, but hardly any restaurants. We felt very comfortable in the Sandgut.

A nice excursion destination in itself, unfortunately due to corona it can only be rented as a room and no restaurant ☹️ but on the whole it should be renovated if you ask me as a craftsman

It was really beautiful. The location is perfect. Nice and quiet and short distances to swimming opportunities. Paddling, bike tours and of course hiking trips are immediately possible. The guests are looked after with great care. Hopefully it will work again soon. ☺️

If you would like a rustic overnight stay, yes, for people who want a comfortable stay, not so much. Doesn't correspond to what you can see on the internet. Breakfast is manageable, no regional products except for the egg. Go there again, no thanks, there's better in town. For Construction workers and craftsmen like this type of accommodation because of the price, but vacationers who want it to be nice should move on. From our side a grade 5 for the upper rooms.
