A beautiful riding stable directly on the Werra. We really enjoy traveling here in our motorhome with our daughter. Directly adjacent is a small campsite which is also run by the farm operator. When booking a campsite you can specify directly whether you would like to have riding lessons and this has always worked very well for us. If you're not like me, for example... You can also experience more here, including canoeing or fishing. All in all, a really recommendable location.

Camping rating:The website touts “peace and relaxation.” It's 10:30 p.m. and the second evening in a row where live music is playing across the camping meadow. That doesn't seem to be really official.The sanitary facilities are no longer up to date. A slim person can hardly get into the showers.The meadow could have been mowed.I generally see a lot of potential, the location is beautiful, the offer is theoretically large, but the implementation... Too bad.

We went paddling there with friends at the end of August for a long weekend and had booked rooms and pitches. It was no problem to change something at short notice. The rooms and apartments are clean and sufficiently equipped. (For Ms. Groß: simply take away broken chairs; no one misses what isn't there).Nobody was dissatisfied at dinner either. SB.... due to the lack of staff. Despite the stress and (sometimes) annoying guests, the staff was always friendly and professional. Thank you for the lovely weekend.We would love to come back.

I wasn't at the inn, but at the associated campsite! It is a campsite without parcels and is beautifully located directly on the Werra. There are sites with or without electricity. Internet reception limited to non-existent. WiFi is offered and can be used more or less depending on the user!

We stayed at the campsite with the caravan for one night. The shower and toilet are clean but can only be reached by a 6-minute walk across the entire unlit square. Ready-made meal in the “country inn” with lots of fat, oil and lettuce floating in the dressing. Overpriced ready-made pizza. The cake was quite good. Everything is a bit dingy, cuddly, loud and overwhelmed.Never again and not recommended.

We stood here at the motorhome parking space... simply in a fantastic location right on the Werra. Sanitary facilities very clean, washing machine and dryer available. Also a clothes dryer. Shuttle with canoes etc. is offered. Going for walks and bike rides directly from the square... wonderful. We would love to come back

A nice campsite away from the main roads, little traffic, lots of nature! That's how it has to be.We booked a canoe tour and when we went into the building we were greeted very unfriendly (at the counter) by an older woman (approx. 160 tall) with blonde hair, a green T-shirt and a broom in her hand. . No hello, just: We're closed and won't open until later. This woman didn't care that we had booked a canoe tour. There was no indication of where we had to go either!We were then left to our own devices and received help from other guests.The handover of paddles, life jackets and barrels was a major failure. Nobody knew where the bus left either. Organization is zero! No signs or anything similar where you can inform yourself if the staff is already unfriendly. - You should have a conversation with her, something like that is simply inappropriate in the customer area!Somehow it worked out and the canoe tour was very relaxed. If you're expecting big action, you're wrong here, the whole thing is more of a coffee trip😊The campsite is nice, the sanitary facilities are clean and booking via email is easy.

A wonderful place to hang out, great for kids to do something without a cell phone. 🐎, exploring the Werra by canoe, camping. This is where the road ends for cars and the beginning of stress-free other things

At the reception one of the employees could be a little friendlier to her guests. We have also noticed this with others.Otherwise there was hardly anything to complain about. We were camping there for 2 days with 2 families. Very nice swimming pond and petting zoo.A briefing on the canoe wouldn't have been a bad idea either.

Lunch break on the Werra cycle path. Self-service is fine, the food is okay, but the beer garden on the Werra is really nice.Well suited for a short stopover.

A little more effort could be made at the reception and the guest could be given better instructions. The room is modernized and basically ok. However, it is very noisy and there is no curtain on the window, so privacy is not guaranteed. The breakfast was absolutely fine for us.
