We had a good rest here due to the relatively quiet surroundings. That was the crucial thing for us. We wouldn't rent the mill again.There is no TV on the ground floor, where life takes place with the kitchen and extension, but only on the 1st floor. So you can only watch TV from bed, otherwise it's not possible.It wasn't the weather to sit outside either. That doesn't contribute to the rating here.We didn't like the fact that you couldn't walk the dog extensively from here, as there are only pastures and fields in the immediate vicinity.

Beautiful landscape cut off from any civilization... we had no cell phone reception. This was perfect for eating comfortably with the family in front of the fireplace in the rainy weather.Recommendation for anyone who just needs a break from EVERYTHING!

We don't think you can have a holiday in East Frisia 😊The only drawback: please do not travel with small children or small dogs, the risk of falling due to the open stairs with the very narrow steps is not insignificant!Otherwise a gem and worth an experience! Even though it was really bitterly cold during our time: we even closed the mill gate because it whistled through the cracks (it's just an old treasure ☺)

Very cozy accommodation. The entablature is open and visible on every floor. In many places you can see that various milling devices were once installed here. Furnished with a lot of love. There is internet via WiFi, satellite TV and a fireplace. Wood or wood briquettes are available at hardware stores in the north. Would love to come back.
