We had a great week on the farm. Our sons (4 and 8) were kept busy and happy. We were able to relax very well and enjoyed the view of the setting sun from the dike directly behind the house in the evening. The apartment was clean, cozy and well equipped. We'll be back.

Hello,We stayed on the farm for 5 nights, had an attic apartment.All we can say is that we were completely satisfied.The location, the farm animals, the apartment and the surrounding area (playground, horse stable, etc.)Everything was great, very well maintained and clean.From the farm you can drive about 4 minutes by car to Norddeich/Norden and there you have very good options for eating out.The hosts were very nice.The location was great because you lived right on the dike and were right on the North Sea.The attic apartment had a great view of the sea.We felt very comfortable and can say that it wasn't the last time we were on the farm.Best regardsRoman F.

Great yard with lots of play options. Lots of animals to touch and care for. Very friendly hosts with modern designed apartments. Proximity to the beach is easy to reach by bike.

A beautiful, quiet farm right on the dike. Perfect for children of all ages, with a large playground, lots of children's tractors and other vehicles, rabbits, goats, etc. The apartment (No. 2) was wonderful and had all the necessary things.

It was my first time at the holiday farm with my 3 year old son and we really enjoyed it. The attic apartment was very well equipped, so much of what we brought with us wasn't even needed. The location of the farm was ideal. There is direct access to the dike and you could quickly reach Norddeich by bike. The outdoor area of the holiday farm is beautiful and well-kept and is a real adventure for children. In addition to the great playground in the garden area, there are a number of vehicles for children and adults with which to explore the yard and the surrounding area. We felt very welcome and will definitely spend our vacation there again.

This is the second time we have been to Groot Plaats and we are absolutely thrilled. The kids (2,4,6) love it and can't get in no matter what the weather. The garden is a paradise for them and the (free) pony riding is a highlight. The apartments are well equipped and the Martens family was always there when there were questions or something similar. We will be happy to come back.

We spent 10 days with our two children on this quiet, beautiful holiday farm. We immediately felt at home and were greeted in a friendly manner.Our children (4 and 8 years old) had lots of great opportunities to play and run around on the farm alongside the animals. There was absolutely no boredom and there was always someone to play with.Our rented attic apartment was very comfortably furnished - the small kitchenette also had everything you need in a holiday apartment.The location of the farm is very quiet but still central - Norddeich can be reached within a few minutes by bike.We would be happy to recommend the farm :)

We were there for 7 nights: 2 adults and 2 children.The older one really liked the horses, goats and rabbits. We really liked the location and the facilities of the apartment.We can recommend this holiday farm 100%.

Despite the not so good weather, we spent a very nice week at the Groote Plats holiday farm. Our apartment was very clean, very nice and functionally furnished.There really was everything you needed in the kitchen.The Martens family is super nice.We'll definitely come back.

We had a wonderful holiday and can fully recommend this farm.We would love to come back. A play paradise for children. No wish remains unfulfilled. We were reluctant to go home again.The contact with the other holidaymakers was also very nice. The horses, goats, cats and rabbits are already missing.Thank you for the great time.

The perfect place to slow down - as a couple or with the whole family.The attic apartments are cozy, but very bright thanks to the large skylights. Here you have a wonderful view of the dike and the sea behind it. This side of the house is quieter and therefore suitable for couples.Apartments 1-4 with their terraces are directly adjacent to the spacious garden, where you will find a very spacious playground in addition to a rabbit run. This is fun for children of all ages so that parents can sit back and relax.There is also a giant trampoline.The apartments were super clean on each of our visits. They are very well thought out, lovingly furnished and fully equipped.Everything is there to bake and cook like you would at home. Not every holiday accommodation can do this.There is guided horse riding twice a week. Always a highlight for children big and small.Ms. Martens, herself a mother of 3 children, is a very friendly hostess who is always available but also knows how to give her guests the privacy they need. She is very interested in the well-being and satisfaction of the guests.This holiday farm is absolutely recommended.

Large, absolutely quiet farm with beautiful holiday apartments where you can sit outside and watch the children on the playground. Loungers with cushions are also available. There are plenty of pedal vehicles and scooters for the kids, from Bobycars to tractors with trailers. Really ideal for children. Lots of space to run around and pony rides several times a week.

We had a really great few days on the farm and can recommend it without reservation. A play paradise for children right in front of the holiday apartment!The apartment is comfortable and equipped with everything you need. An extra baby travel cot was also set up upon request. We'd love to come back!
