We spent a wonderful week on the authentic farm. The location is close to the sea and very quiet. Just the thing to turn your head off. The apartment was clean and very comfortably furnished. Everything was prepared for us. The children had a lot of fun and were able to explore everything on the farm themselves. This included collecting eggs, feeding the animals and driving the tractor with farmer Oldewurtel. Existing play equipment such as the Kettcars, swings and seesaws could be used without hesitation. We liked it so much that we would definitely like to come back. We went on many lovely excursions during our week, such as wading on the mudflats to the mussel beds, a day at the beach, cycling tours, visits to museums, and a day of shopping in town.

We had great, entertaining days on the authentic farm directly behind the dike and in the surrounding area. Farmer Johann Oldewurtel shows the children his farm, lets them help (e.g. feeding the animals, collecting eggs) and likes to take them for a ride on the tractor to the dike. You can walk around freely here and explore everything on your own. As for excursions, we went on a beach chair in Norddeich, hiked in the mudflats with mudflat guide Eckhard, visited the howlers at the seal station and took the boat over to Juist for a real beach day. East Frisia has a lot to offer for families.

We had a great time in our holiday apartment and extended our stay by several days because we didn't want to go home.The apartment was cozy, the host was very friendly and helpful! Only recommended.

We went on vacation with the grandchildren for the first time and didn't know what was coming. We hadn't even left when we already booked again for next year. And now we're going there three times and we're really looking forward to it. The children can play, can and are allowed to experience animals. And the grandparents can relax for a while.But there is also the opportunity to go away because nothing is far away.There is a piece of paradise there, thanks to the lovely landlord Mr. Oldewurtel 😘

A beautiful farm, especially great for children. The farmer is also very nice. You can also take a nice walk here and highly recommended. :)

Friendly farmer with simple but clean apartments. Light, air, peace, space, a few animals and nothing else. No crowds, no noise, holiday! Norddeich within cycling distance.
