Unfortunately, photos and reality did not match.I can't confirm the smell that others complain about, it's just an old building. But:The cleanliness was just terrible, really disgusting. The mattresses are more like instruments of torture. My complaint was answered with: "If we are not responsible, we don't know anything about it." Reacts. We left a day early due to the pain from sleeping. No joke. I have to go to the doctor first. No wardrobe. No sway hooks for hangers. I walked around with wrinkled clothes for a week.Wall brackets in the bathroom had broken off, causing dirt to trickle into the bathtub. Other brackets broken or not complete. Apparently no one knew anything about that either.Dirt and mold are trickling down from the walls. Despite being a listed building, this can be remedied as a modern Velux window could also be used. Of course, it was so dirty that when it was opened, the dirt fell into the bathroom. No lighting at the front door, you never knew whether you would meet the spider of horror or someone standing in the corner. The seating in the kitchen was broken and worn out.Uswuswu etcI don't expect too much for €1000 per week in the low season, just more.Cleanliness. Beds, no boards. Intact furniture. This property looks yucky from the outside and yucky from the inside.

Only the location is TOPThe cleanliness is absolutely poor. Cobwebs everywhere, even though guests arrived on the day of departure and the accommodation was cleaned. Plaster (?!) on the floor in the hallway and living room. Damp walls, the wallpaper is partially peeling off. Rusted windows. Bathroom window and entrance door leaking. Bathroom door warped and won't close properly. Bathroom window 2/3 blind and absolutely dirty... mold in some joints, shower enclosure not installed properly... water still ran outside on the wall... toilet flushing without (!) stop function. Unacceptable at this time. The living room cupboard and chest of drawers in the kitchen could not be used because they smelled very musty and moldy. Of the two existing chairs, one was completely worn out. The couch was stained and musty. There were 2 vacuum cleaners, but with both of them the smell was even worse afterwards than before. The seat cushions for the garden chair were also stained (looked like mildew). Stains on the walls... adventurous installations (TV connection and living room lamp). Stained curtains and bed linen! Conclusion: quite pretty from the outside. The inside urgently needs to be renovated/renovated. We read a lot of reviews in advance and were very negatively surprised. The furniture seems to have been thrown together haphazardly and is now showing its age. Some things should be replaced here.

Beautifully located listed house. Unfortunately, the condition takes a lot of getting used to, especially in the small apartment. There is a need for action, both in terms of renovation, furniture and garden, as well as in terms of cleanliness and cleaning.

Apart from the fact that the cycle path leads past Greetsiel, there is largely peace here, in contrast to the Norddeich, 3km away. The building consists of two apartments, we had the smaller one for two people and a dog. The equipment is neat and offers everything you need. What is crucial, however, is the special charm of the listed building, which is complemented by a small, demarcated plot of land, which in the case of the small apartment is much more beautiful because it is more idyllic.Anyone who loves being close to nature, quiet and rustic is in good hands here right on the dike.Unfortunately, however, there is a certain maintenance backlog to be complained about, one or two repairs should not be put off for a long time...
