Went there as part of a company party. Buffet was varied. Unfortunately we found that the main dishes could have been warmer. Some were lukewarm. Which we found to be a real shame. Still tastes delicious. The way there leads over narrow side streets (forest and fields) with little lighting on the side of the road, which takes some getting used to for people unfamiliar with the region. Because there is oncoming traffic and you have to stop. Therefore drive carefully in the dark. On-site parking could be better designed. When there are a lot of guests it gets tight and even in the dark due to piles of wood or equipment etc. Parking in front of the restaurant is very limited. It is cheaper to park there with a small car. The service was polite. Drinks from local suppliers.

Today (Thursday) the three of us spontaneously had dinner at the Berggasthof Neu-Friedrichsruh. Everyone was thrilled - the game goulash, the sauerbraten and the roulade were fantastic! The meat was really tender, the sauce was nice and creamy, the red cabbage was very tasty and the dumplings were very tasty! As a starter there was the breaded Camembert - it impressed with its creaminess and was also an absolute culinary delight! For dessert there was a portion of “Hot Love”, which was also very enjoyable - especially the vanilla ice cream!The staff were always friendly and accommodating and we felt really comfortable right from the start.Great value for money & warmly recommended!

We had our back-to-school buffet from dr Ruh...everyone was thrilled, it tasted really good and the advice beforehand was also very fair and not based on the motto: the main thing is to sell a lot. We've eaten there many times and it's always been delicious.We received friendly service and it's a good portion size.Price performance is right.

This highly recommended inn is located in the beautiful Ore Mountains, in wonderful surroundings with great views. The atmosphere is great, the staff are very friendly and approachable, the service is great, the food is plentiful and very tasty. We come more often now 😁 So anyone who visits our beautiful Ore Mountains should definitely stop by there, it's worth it.

If you're a walk-in customer who wants something to eat on Sunday at 7:30 p.m., you won't get anything because the kitchen is already closed. According to the opening times, the restaurant is open until 21stIt's open at noon, although it's unusual that you can't go anywhere 1 1/2 hours before the end.Luckily there are places you can go to.

We have enjoyed coming here again and again for years. We were impressed by the cozy atmosphere, the friendly staff and the food. Whether it's Christmas time or spring, the menu is varied and all dishes are fresh and prepared with a lot of love. We are already looking forward to the next festivals

Convenience food at excessive prices and, to make matters worse, of poor quality. Waited 1 hour 15 minutes for this type of food. It doesn't actually get much worse. Especially since the facility completely lacks cosiness, flair and charm. If you're happy to pay a lot for little, you've come to the right place.The service staff ignored repeated suggestions that the seasoned meat, which was part of two main courses, was spoiled.

We always enjoy eating here. From schnitzel to burgers and salmon...everything is very tasty! Depending on the season, the menu changes and you always try something new. I would describe it as regional cuisine with creativity. Everything is fresh and with regional ingredients. The plates are always very attractive and there is plenty of it. When it comes to drinks and desserts, there is always something special to go with what's on the menu. Rico and his team are very warm and on the ball.

We wanted to have lunch at the mountain inn for a celebration. When I got there, I was a little disappointed with the outside area. We went on a short hike and then stopped. Luckily we had pre-ordered because most of the tables were or were full during lunchtime. The dining room was very cozy and I was able to be a little more relaxed. We had 12 different meals and all of them were great, plentiful and tasty!!! My guests and I were extremely positively surprised! Service was quick and friendly. Price was more than fair. So..., don't judge the quality inside from the outside!!! I would want to eat here again at any time!! My thanks go to the entire team!!(I can't say anything about the rooms because we didn't see them or book them)
