It was our first stay in a family hotel. We were completely satisfied. Our room was great. The food was great. The staff was super welcoming. The child care was great and the location was super central. We would go on holiday to the Familotel Deichkrone again in a heartbeat.

Great family hotel right on the beach.Varied buffet at any time of the day. Even cake and ice cream in the afternoon.The sea can be reached on foot in five minutes and the beach is a dream.The hotel's playground is clean and the beach chairs and play equipment are constantly cleaned.

It was our first time in the Deichkrone, but it is already the 6th Familotel.We couldn't understand the bad reviews, because even a 4 star hotel can't be perfect.The rooms were great, the staff in all areas were very friendly and accommodating.The only drawback was the care, which was probably due to the lack of or sick staff. A lot was canceled for the teens, or within 10 days there were only 2 appointments and when the weather was nice, all the offers for the little ones were inside, even though the weather was always nice.What was great was that the mini disco was actually moved outside because it was so warm.We don't understand the complaints about the food either, because it's completely sufficient that you can only choose from 3 dishes at lunch, because the 4 different salads were always very varied and tasty. And in the evening there was plenty of food again.In short, we were thrilled and would come again. 👍

We had a really great vacation!All employees are extremely nice and accommodating. The atmosphere is familiar and relaxed.The childcare was very committed and kind, so our child really enjoyed going there.The selection at the buffet is more than sufficient and the food tastes very good. We also thought it was great that some of the leftover food was further processed (e.g.pasta for pasta salad).We can definitely recommend this Familotel!

Rooms were quite okayThe staff was also very nice, but the food left a lot to be desired, very little choice and sometimes very cold!For the price you pay you expect something different, check in is at 3 p.m., we arrived at 1 p.m. and were not allowed to take part in lunch, only for an additional charge of 15 euros per adult (the statement was that we could only have it from 15 booked) which is total nonsense in my opinion, we stayed there for 3 nights and paid over €1500, so I expect lunch on the day of arrival. Otherwise there is plenty of activities on offer for children.

We stayed at the hotel from July 27, 24 to August 4, 2024. It was a great time. Our every wish was fulfilled. We would like to thank you for everything. The rooms were very clean, the food was fresh and varied. Everyone enjoyed it. We would like to come back next year.

We stayed here for a week and loved the hotel. You can always find little things that could be improved (as with any hotel), but overall this hotel is a blessing for families. All the things that may not be perfect are balanced out by the warmth. We can recommend the hotel!

Very nice hotel for families. The needs of the little ones are being taken into account.We were there with two children aged two and four. Our children liked the playground and the football field best.The rooms were a nice size and there was enough equipment especially for small children who needed a potty, toilet seat, changing table, clothes rack, etc.The food in the restaurant was also very tasty and we always found something. And if it was corn with grated cheese for the children.The price with all inclusive seems quite high at first, but if you break it down to four people, the value for money is great. The big advantage for us was that we didn't have to worry about anything.Clearly recommended for families, especially with small children.

We stayed at the Familotel Deichkrone in Norddeich over Pentecost...A full recommendation from us! The staff was super friendly, loved children and always helpful! The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Room cleaning was also great. A special highlight was the pizza restaurant. The pizza size is selected and then it's time to put the toppings...The pool with mini pool for the little ones was also great. By the way, for the sauna - if you love it, let us know at reception half an hour in advance and the sauna will be ready in time...also recommended. There is great care for the children, but we didn't take advantage of it because we wanted to spend the entire day together... the playground was well thought out and we were able to sit comfortably in the beach chair and enjoy the sun while the children were in the playground in front of us We could have fun and there were plenty of vehicles, bobby cars, tricycles, scooters...We will be back!!!!

Great family hotel. I can particularly highlight the childcare. My child didn't want to go anymore. Otherwise only small things bothered us, for example in the room under the loft bed there was a small table and stool. Couldn't be used due to lack of lighting. It was then quickly used as storage space. We liked the nice decor with a Nordic theme. Perhaps the walls of the large swimming pool and the lounge area of the sauna could also be decorated with the theme. Was a little bleak. The food was varied and the extra children's meals were great. Everyone has found something here. We also really enjoyed barbecuing together at the playground. In general, everyone tried to make sure you had a good time. Really recommended. Despite all the activities, as a mother I was able to relax and we all enjoyed our holiday on the North Sea.
