We booked 3 nights in this holiday home through Airbnb. The apartment was spacious, spartan but functionally furnished - with little things that could be improved... But overall a nice apartment in a dying town, partly with a massive renovation backlog and the best days behind it. Gastronomy, shops,... NoneGood and cheap for staying overnight with a car - but 3 days were enough

Beautiful large holiday apartments. We were there with a group.Grilling in the yard also went well. The Harz ideal road for motorcycles passes right in front of the house. You can also get around on foot. It's quite steep in places.

Very nice apartment, spacious and bright, facilities as described and also great surroundings. The on-site caretaker has everything under control and is very helpful. Small things in the apartment need to be replaced, such as toilet seats or roller shutters, so 5 stars can also be given...

Too bad only three out of five possible. The facilities of the apartments are actually very nice. What particularly bothered me is that the house is very noisy. The floor creaks and the beds are a disaster. If you are a light sleeper, sleeping through the night is almost impossible. The caretaker is quite nice though. Just a small excerpt from the nights!!! What a pity .!!!

We were there with 4 people and really had a lot of space. The beds were great and the caretaker was very, very friendly.Positive:-lots of space-Shower & bathtub-sweet place- Hiking trails right outside the door- cheap- fresh towels- Kiosk down in the village with fresh bread rolls- Restaurant in the village- Caretaker lives in the house- Nearest town 15-20 minutes away by carNegative:- not cozy, rather cold furnished- the entire floor creaks extremely loudly- No insulation on the walls, everything is very noisy- Kitchen furnished rather provisionally- Shopping is only possible by car or busThe problem is really the old wooden floor, this house is extremely noisy and is absolutely not for families, once the children are in bed you are no longer allowed to go to the toilet because you are not allowed to move an inch. The apartment itself is cold and carelessly furnished. You can tell that temporary/temporary workers are more welcome there. The furniture is all screwed on so you can't move anything, but it's not a bad thing, but you can tell who's meeting there. We had the absolute bad luck of having temporary workers above us that very week, they were out working all day (we were too, so no problem) and in the evening from 7 p.m. the party really started, loud music, screaming and dancing until 10 p.m. because the night is closed at 10 p.m. At 4 a.m. the stress started again. This was absolutely no relaxation. I mentioned it to the caretaker, who is really very nice, and he said that he would talk to them because it doesn't work that way. This was probably not done or people didn't understand a word. Since the caretaker told me that they had been there for a year, he knew the problem and this probably happened often. As a family you shouldn't vacation there, if you want to go hiking then it's perfect. The place itself is absolutely dead, no one can do anything about it, but this place is only used as a passage, in the evening the windows rattle because the buses and trucks crash through. Overall it's a really cute house but just not made for peace and quiet. The places are all easily accessible by car.(this is just my experience and there are some things the owner can do absolutely nothing about)

First the positive. Very clean apartment. Very large with great cuisine and in a very quiet valley with good shopping opportunities in Osterode. We would come back if it weren't for the encounter with the caretaker. He yelled at someone about the Covic 19 test and blamed Booking.Nobody had spoken to him, which I denied because I dialed his cell phone number. Then we had to immediately put our motorcycles in the garage even though we just wanted to throw our stuff away. Then he got loud too. Then we shouldn't knock over the motorcycle that's in the garage. Otherwise €32,000 will be lost.Okay, so I'm going to go to the garage and I'm going to.People think highly of their guests, impossible and damaging to business.

Very nice place, just switching off for a weekend works wonderfully 👌.The rooms are always well maintained, there is nothing to complain about, and if you need help, the caretaker is there to help and advise you.Simply great 👍
