Had lunch with the family at the restaurant today.The food was, as always, very tasty and the staff was friendly and welcoming!Above all, the food came very, very quickly, even though the restaurant was full.I can only recommend a visit.

Our stay was absolutely pleasant. The rooms are clean and modernly furnished, which we really liked.Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and fast staff, both in the hotel and in the restaurant. The service was first class! The food in the restaurant was excellent, especially the breaded cream schnitzel with spaetzle – simply delicious!The breakfast also leaves nothing to be desired, there is a large selection of fresh rolls, various toppings, juices, yoghurt and muesli.We'll definitely be back!

Very nice family run restaurant and hotel.Rooms are very nice, clean and modern. Food in the restaurant excellent. The ambience in a wood-paneled Black Forest parlor is very nice. The service was friendly and accommodating.Recommendation - I'll be back!

Gastro review: The Rößle in St. Märgen offers a consistently successful combination of regional Black Forest cuisine, a cozy ambience and warm service. Our visit there for lunch on October 3rd, 2024 was a culinary experience that focused on both the love of down-to-earth home cooking and the freshness of the ingredients.As a starter we chose a classic pancake soup made from beef broth and with homemade pancakes and fresh chives - you can literally taste the craftsmanship. A truly successful introduction to the main course.For the main course, we both chose the venison ragout with buttered spaetzle and cranberries - a classic game specialty that makes you feel good not only in the cold season. The venison ragout was excellently prepared: buttery, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The tender pieces of meat literally melted in your mouth, and the accompaniment of the slightly sweet cranberries gave the dish a balanced fruitiness that harmonized wonderfully with the strong sauce. The butter spaetzle was also a poem – airy, golden yellow and wonderfully buttery.Not only was the food convincing across the board, the service was also worth mentioning. The friendly and approachable manner of the service contributed significantly to making us feel completely at home. The service staff was always attentive without seeming intrusive, and their warmth enriched the entire experience.In summary, it can be said that the freshness, quality and regional reference of the food, the authentic atmosphere and the excellent service make the Rößle an absolute insider tip for everyone who wants to enjoy regional cuisine. We will definitely come back and even take a detour!

Our comfort room was very nice, the ladies from room service were extremely friendly. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. A little suggestion for the sake of the environment, serve the milk in a jug instead of this plastic milk scoop.Food in the restaurant excellent, price performance OK.We'll definitely be back next year.

We were back at the Rössle after 2018. We had the same room again. It still looked as clean as it did 6 years ago. Although the guesthouse is in the middle of town, it is very quiet.The food was simply delicious. Even though it was often busy, we got our food quickly.The entire staff was very friendly and reliable.The price-performance ratio is great.Since the bus stop is right in front of the house, it's easy with the Konus cardUse bus and train transport free of charge.We will definitely come back.

We had dinner there. Staff very friendly & attentive. Knows his dishes & wines. Food very tasty. Portions sufficient. Sat comfortably on the terrace. The inn is busy, so it's better to reserve a table in advance.

We eat at Rößle once a year. The portions are pleasantly large and the service is excellent. The quality of the food is excellent.It is definitely advisable to reserve a table, the restaurant is always full.We'll definitely be back

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms.But the food and we were there several times, you can only say ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!!!The staff very friendly and accommodating.I can only recommend the Rössle.

Home-style & tasty in St.MärgenI would be happy to recommend the Rößle.Well-stocked menu with lots of meat but also fish and vegetarian dishes. There's something on the map.We spontaneously stopped by on the way back from a bike tour.After a short wait it was no problem getting a seat.Friendly service, value for money, speed was very good and the Black Forest schnitzel was delicious.The ambience is outdated, but still charming and cozy.That's how it has to be in the Black Forest.
