We actually just wanted to do a night of wellness and escape from everyday life for a bit. At the reception we were asked if we wanted to reserve a table for the evening. Without having any idea of the experience, we said yes. The room was great! The sauna area too. In the evening we discovered that it was a gourmet restaurant. The food ended up being more expensive than the room. But we have rarely eaten such a good steak. The whole weekend was rounded off with a great breakfast (unfortunately I was still full from the evening).

This review is for the restaurant. Like many in the Black Forrest this restaurant has a quiet atmosphere with high quality local food and professional and friendly service. No english menu but the servers speak very good English and can explain. Fantastic local wine selection in half bottle size. Children’s menu is a smaller version of adults menu - which we love!!

Great! After a long journey we unfortunately arrived at the hotel quite late. We were looking forward to the wellness, but unfortunately it was already closed. After consultation with the boss, we were still allowed in! Very grateful for that. The hotel is beautiful, lovely room, lovely staff. Everything has been thought of. We were also given water for the car. We would love to come back here! The breakfast was really excellent.

We spent 2 nights in the sun and were absolutely thrilled. Although the reception is closed on Mondays, everything was perfectly prepared for our arrival. The room was spacious and nicely furnished, the beds were really very comfortable. We also found everything our hearts desired on the balcony with a table, chairs and deck chairs. The wellness area is open from morning onwards and there are lots of comfortable loungers, bean bags, sofas, etc. Everything seems to have been newly renovated and was very clean. Drinks and snacks were also available. The saunas are switched on from 4 p.m. (or earlier on request, we didn't test that), we would have liked the pool to be a little warmer, as it is not suitable for swimming, but it was too cool to use the integrated benches. The breakfast is really the highlight. All food is organic and very high quality. There was the usual stuff like rolls, cheese, sausage, jam, etc. but also unusual things like ginger water and ginger shots. In addition to the buffet, there was a menu from which you could order various things such as eggs or croissants. I think it's very good that the hotel makes sure that no food is wasted and therefore chose this route. Everything was also available for vegans (almond or oat drink, vegan spread, even gluten-free bread, etc.).The staff was also super friendly and helpful! We look forward to vacationing there again!
