We were there in August this year. Unfortunately there was less to see or do there than hoped. The “play barn” is just really run down, dirty and full of rubbish. The apartment we stayed in has some disadvantages such as it being very noisy with four or more people. But what disappointed us most (humanly) was the customer (un)friendliness. When additional people subsequently joined our booking and unfortunately became ill immediately upon arrival so that they had to leave on the same day, we were unfortunately not refunded a single euro or offered anything else. In any case, the question wasn't even responded to by email, but was (specifically) ignored. We would have hoped for a certain level of accommodation, since it only affected some of the guests and there was no major disadvantage or additional expense for the farm.

Before the renovation I thought it was better...the new building looks like a canteen...it's a shame

The new courtyard cafe offers plenty of seating. Unfortunately the ambience is lacking; Unfortunately it has the feel of a canteen. Unfortunately, the background noise resembles that of a train station hall. The dishes on offer “compensate” for this with their well-known excellent quality and good taste

We held a children's and youth camp on the Hof Hagdorn campsite. We had a great time with super nice hosts.

The holiday apartment is about 2.5 km from the farm. The holiday apartment was modern, clean and very well equipped, but it obviously has technical problems. I couldn't turn on a lamp in the kitchen because otherwise the fuse in the electrical box would have blown. There are two televisions in the apartment, when both were turned on, the channels changed by themselves and went off and on by themselves. After we heard the toilet flush in the kitchen from the apartment above, water came out of the ceiling exactly from the lamp's suspension and then flowed down the lamp. Since water and electricity definitely don't mix, there was an acute risk of fire. That same evening we had no hot water for several hours, which we reported straight away. No further communication then took place. We then turned the water on again and again and after a few hours we noticed that the warm water was back. When we showed our son the pigsty in the evening, we met a woman who lives on the farm. She was superficially friendly, but you could tell that she was irritated by our presence. The next morning a makeshift barricade (like the one in the photo) was erected in front of the stable. We then spoke to the landlady about the unpleasant events. However, her reaction was simply that she had very good reviews and that all the guests had been very satisfied so far and we were the only ones complaining. The farm advertises with the keywords “Experience Farm”, “Hospitality”, “Learning and Knowledge for Children” and so on. Unfortunately we didn't find out. Nobody offered to show us the farm or tell us anything about the farm. As we were walking across the yard, a large, off-leash and free-roaming dog suddenly came towards us (the farm dog that no one informed us about) and chased us. Our son got scared and cried and our dog (on a leash) was annoyed. However, no one on the farm was interested in it. The farm dog just runs around freely without anyone checking on him. I asked the landlady to take the dog away and allow us to visit the farm, which she promised us. Unfortunately, the same woman from the pigsty was on the farm and, after seeing us, let her own dog and the farm dog loose on us and then smiled smugly. I asked her if she could take the dogs away. However, her answer was that we can leave our dog in the trunk of our car. In a later conversation with the landlord, he repeated this sentence. I could go into more detail about the events, but that would go completely beyond the scope. Ultimately, we were left with the impression that the guests were happy to take their money, but otherwise they didn't want to have anything else to do with the guests and, above all, no work and no complaints. Given the events, we have decided to leave earlier and will definitely not come again.

The Kuh Berta holiday apartment for 4 - 9 people is very spacious. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 with 3 single beds and 2 with 1 double and 1 single bed.A large kitchen with a huge corner bench, table and 4 chairs. The mattresses are very comfortable. If you are used to ergonomically shaped pillows, you should bring your own.I would like to go back.

We actually wanted to go to the farm café, but apparently this no longer exists. More attention is now being paid to holiday apartments. Too bad 😥
