The room is clean and spacious. It’s an older style of interior design and fits the charme of the place wonderful. The bed is warm and soft. The old school tv 📺 is just a small step back in time but cute.Christiane is offering the absolute best service one could wish for. It was like coming home. She was aware of when I’d arrive and while usually no open kitchen is available the day arrived she made a beautiful dinner Brotzeit. All delicious and the extra scrambled eggs were what my body ached for after a long walk.Especially for hikers the location is perfect along the Rothaarsteig. For all others the view and peace is just a tip to get out.Not only me but also my doggie enjoyed the stay and the warmth of welcome in this hotel.An absolute recommendation for those who look for and appreciate real kindness and human connection. The open friendliness of Christiane - the owner - and offered care as a beyond service host feels rare to found these days and has been an absolute pleasure to meet.Thank you for the wonderful hours in your house! See you next time and stay healthy!

Nice hostess, clean room, good breakfast.Location perfect on our Rothaarsteig hike.But time seems to have stood still here for a while. I haven't had this interior and a tube television that can no longer cope with the current picture formats for a long time. It's not nice that there were no toiletries or soap dispensers. That surprised me a bit, especially given the price, which was definitely not a bargain.

Well-kept, clean, friendly hostess and a small but nice breakfast buffet. WiFi is also available.However, you have to be aware that it is a nostalgic country house, not a modern hotel. In any case, I thought it was nice because it suits hiking.

Manu El's assessment is absolutely incomprehensible. The rooms are all immaculate, clean and well maintained. The owner is extremely warm and has known us for decades. Completely incomprehensible and unjustified. It's probably up to the guest themselves! We'll come back to any room at any time! The breakfast also leaves nothing to be desired!
