The best place you can come to for a relaxing experience. Anbu and Alice are an amazing host and made us feel welcome like we were part of their family.They have amazing stories to share, and we had a lot of fun while cooking together. Anbu's Egg Dosas are definitely the best in Czech Republic.The "Alpaca Therapy" was fun as well. I would definitely recommend this place if anyone is looking to chill out in nature with some amazing company. 🦙🐎🌲🏞️

Great place with soul! Accommodation Mezi Jeleny is in one of the last standing houses in the former German village of Jeleny (Hirschenstand). The rooms and common social facilities are very basic but clean. There is no mobile signal in the town and the guesthouse does not offer an internet connection, so it is a great opportunity to "switch off" and enjoy the beautiful nature of the Ore Mountains, which is not spoiled by crowds of tourists.The owners are great, we took part in cooking an Indian meal together, there are a lot of animals near the house (horses, alpacas, pigeons...), which you can take for a walk (ok, maybe not the pigeons). And you can bring your psycho friend too.Thank you for a nice extended weekend, we will definitely come back to you sometime :)

If you are looking for a place to cleanse your mind and body, accommodation Mezi Jeleny is a clear choice. 🙂 Don't expect any luxurious and fragrant rooms, the kitchen, bathroom and toilet are shared, but at least it will bring you back to your childhood when you used to go to similar cottages. 😉 The children and us adults were excited about the animals they keep here - going for a walk with a llama is a great experience. 👍 The surroundings are beautiful. And you will get used to being without signal and internet very quickly, you will make many nice contacts and really relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life. 😌 Thank you very much for this experience and I keep my fingers crossed for the owners that all their plans and dreams come true. 🏠🐎

The facility: a large old-style mansion / Guesthouse with unique warm family touch. Rooms clean, spacious, well-heated, well-decorated. Clean common bathrooms, clean common toilettes. Quiet nights with zero noise around the building.Staff: want to adopt them for my family members, hospitable yet not intruding the privacy. Lovely people to be around and engage in conversation with, also 💯 percent well-informed and helpful when it comes to guiding you what to do/see/experience in the vicinity or area.Food: do it yourself. Means, bring your own and cook in one of the two kitchens.Animals: added value of this mansion are the alpacas and horses. You may JOIN the owners in feeding them and interacting with them. Wonderful.

A great choice for those looking for an escape into nature. Simple but completely functional accommodation with the nicest hosts. Definitely don't miss a walk with alpacas and ponies, or cooking authentic Indian cuisine together. We would love to come back again ❤️

Fantastic getaway near German borders. Alice and Anbu are welcoming and kind hosts with beautiful accommodation located in one of the most beautiful parts of Czech Republic. The nature around is beautiful in both summer and winter, there are gorgeous forests, inviting (but refreshingly cold even in summer) rivers and streams, number of ski slopes, colourful blooming meadows and a lot more. Hope I can go to visit soon again!
