We had a delicious meal with a view of the Eider. Cheerful service, unusual menu, good parking situation. Prices very reasonable. Also suitable for larger events. Always happy to be there. I'm looking forward to the next visit. Every now and then great events with live music, among other things. Pizza day on Wednesdays, burger days on Thursdays - with great discounts :)

One night in a sleeping barrel with breakfast. Very nice, helpful and attentive staff. Positive: The breakfast is a blast, everything you can imagine, scrambled eggs are prepared to order, fresh bakery rolls on Sunday. The coffee is hot, could be a little stronger. But no matter, the sleeping barrel, cozy and everything was very clean. Unfortunately the lock had caused problems, so we should check and repair it. The door is warped and has about a centimeter of air in the lower area, which meant everything inside was damp after a night right on the Eider in October. Sanitary facilities, renovation urgently needed. Spark and mold, just disgusting. That's why only two stars.

We've been going there for many years. Super nice boss, staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing negative. And the breakfast, world class. Highly recommended.👍Hope you keep it up for a long time.🍀💯

great houseboat and a really mega good breakfast buffet at an incredibly good price. We'll definitely be back. Sunrises and sunsets like in a picture book.

A slightly different overnight stay :)I was able to experience many beautiful moments on my multi-day bike tour through Schleswig-Holstein. This also included spending the night in a wooden barrel for the first time. And I have to say, I really liked it. For me, a wooden barrel on a hillside and directly on the Eider is something special. Sleeping in it was an experience. At night it started to rain and I could hear the raindrops pattering. I think it's a very nice sound.But of course the best came last :)The next morning I was treated to a great breakfast. It was really a surprise! In my opinion, it would be worth staying there overnight for that alone.This overnight stay remains a very fond memory for me.Thanks :)

We spent a wonderful week in a wonderful holiday apartment that belongs to this company and is located directly on the Kiel Canal. Having breakfast at least once in the boathouse is a real must. We'll be back.

I'm trying to put it politely, the passion for running the property has probably been lost at some point. UNFORTUNATELY. The location is really nice. No more restaurant. Our room (Anchorage) was pretty shabby and the bed, shower and toilet were clean. The fitting on the toilet was a lottery and there was also mold on the pleats and in the corners. Too bad.

Simply not obvious. What this boatman country house is all about is that it looks open and closed at the same time. You simply can't imagine what else takes place there other than an advertised breakfast.It's a shame, the sunny terrace, not far from the swimming area and the canoe dock, actually invites you to dine, but you just don't see anyone there. It's just a shame about the unused opportunities.

Spending the night in a barrel is possible here. With a view of the Eider and swimming opportunities. The equipment is very nice for a barrel, the sanitary facilities are behind the restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open for events, which is a shame because it's right next to the barrel.

Centrally located in Schleswig Holstein on the Eider, small but nice. Super delicious breakfast, nice owners and employees. I can only recommend it.

We found ourselves stranded here after a strenuous bike ride and were given a warm welcome despite a closed company.The breakfast buffet was also very tasty, the selection was great and the rolls were fresh.Special thanks to Birgit and her team who arranged so much for us :-)
