The property is truly an idyllic retreat for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet :-)Unfortunately, the coffee machine in our holiday apartment "Waldnest" was broken - a leak with considerable water loss. The push button on the toilet flush can cause a lot of unwanted water flow.The bedroom on the 1st floor. Designed as a walk-through room, the solution is not so successful either...But what is not acceptable at all is the behavior of the landlord of the property!The use of the sauna guaranteed/paid for by the rental agreement was not possible due to a technical defect (?). Basically no problem. However, according to our information about the sauna, the landlord was characterized by "ignorance - stalling tactics - sitting out the problem and leaving me alone".You can't expect recommendations this way :-((

We were guests at the Alte Mühle last weekend in the best spring weather. The apartments themselves and especially the outdoor area are extremely lovingly designed and far exceed the pictures available on the internet! We arrived with a group of cyclists via parts of the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path and had the mill as our destination for the evening. Swimming in the beautiful and directly enclosed stream has never felt so good! We didn't use the sauna due to time constraints, but we communicated well in advance and offered that this could be prepared if we registered in advance and would be included in the price. We slept wonderfully in the available beds in both apartments and woke up in the morning with the incomparable view of nature to the chirping of birds. If you live in a big city or are under a lot of stress at work, you can get down here within a few minutes. And switching off your smartphone is also great thanks to the poor cell phone reception! ❤️
