The Emmendinger Hütte is a wonderful starting point for lots of excursions, even in summer. For stays of 2 nights or more, the Black Forest Card is included, which includes many great excursion destinations.The hut was very clean and the food was good too. The fact that there is silence after 11 p.m. and there is no room left to use is a bit of a shame, but somehow understandable. Everyone wants to sleep sometimes.All in all, a nice stay.

Very polite innkeepers, nice and courteous treatment of our students. Helpful and available for any problem. Excellent food, any food requests were always responded to immediately. Vegetarian requests were also taken into account. The mattresses were also very good.

Rooms: Hut feeling without a hut (one toilet + shower) for more than 30 menService: €4.80 for a wheat/beer is very steep (even for this location, for a NOT restaurant), schnapps for €3.50…Service is okay overall, but there is still room for improvement - they are not open to criticismLocation: Nice view, good for hiking…However, it is not recommended just to “sleep” there, as there are much better and cheaper accommodations for group experiences with much more fun for everyone involved

At the weekend I went on a hut tour in the Black Forest with my girlfriend. So we stayed here for one night. We received a friendly welcome, even though we arrived soaking wet from the rain. There was also a newspaper for our shoes. Even the heating was turned on. Room small, but has everything you need. The mattresses are great for sleeping. Showers and toilets are modern. We thought the dinner was great and also the selection at breakfast. We just found the prices for drinks a bit high. But you can see what else is going on. Definitely had a nice stay there. With evening singing, the other group there.🎵🎶😁 We would definitely come back. When we're in the area.

Very nice, cozy hut, with an ideal location right on the Feldberg. I stayed there overnight on the Westweg. My room was small but cozy and clean. The landlady was very friendly, the breakfast was also great. The price-performance ratio was also unbeatable.I can recommend the Emmendinger Hütte to everyone for a hiking holiday. It's definitely great in winter too.

I was here last week with my classmates from school. The rooms are okay in size, but still kept very clean. The beds, bathroom, etc. were also very clean and well maintained. The cabin has a beautiful interior and a pleasant atmosphere. The owner and her husband were extremely friendly. The food was very tasty, filling and consideration was given to vegetarian guests. Overall we were very satisfied and thank you.

The location of the property is good! The rooms are small but OK.One shower per gender is definitely not enough (traffic jam before dinner). The service in the restaurant is not customer-oriented/friendly, the prices for drinks are unreasonably high for the location.Unfortunately, once the night falls, the guest room can no longer be used - nor can the room separated from the catering area.So as a group we had to either go to bed or leave the hut after 11pm. It's a shame because we would have liked to continue playing cards and earn money :-)PS: I don't consider the answers to many of the reviews below to be appropriate. If you constantly criticize how you deal with things, you as a restaurateur/service provider have to question yourself.Best regards

The hut is nice and has a nice garden etc. But the employees are very unfriendly and have insulted my colleagues, which is completely unacceptable. The food was okay, but many had digestive problems after eating. The rooms were good too, small but was good. The best thing was the place itself and the garden. Overall it was fine.

We spent a pleasant night in the hut right on the edge of the ski slope. The accommodation is very nice, extremely well located, the rooms are clean and the staff is really very accommodating and friendly.We really enjoyed the food too.I can absolutely recommend the hut to spend a weekend in nature and on the slopes. Gladly again! 😊As for luggage transport: We strapped our backpacks to our backs and brought them up on skis thanks to the button lift. The next morning we brought the luggage on skis down the slopes straight to the car. That was really easy. So it's doable.One more thing, which applies in many places: CASH ONLY. 😊

Had a great holiday in the cottage. The rooms are small but very clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty.From the hut it takes about 2 minutes along the slopes to the lift. We'd love to come back

Small menu with "ski classics" to eat, cheese pätzle really good, great cakes (yes, Black Forest cherry too), only the fries were somehow not to our taste, somehow soft instead of crispy.

The hut is very nice but when we were there with our class we were treated very badly and my girlfriend was insulted.Second helpings were only added very hesitantly and there was a dessert after which one of my comrades didn't feel particularly well. The staff was unspokenly rude and ignorant towards us even though we appeared friendly.
