We will definitely come back!!!The welcome and the overall atmosphere are very warm and pleasant. The room was great and the surroundings are lovely.Due to a bereavement we had to end our holiday early. We were treated incredibly well and were accommodated as best as possible.We look forward to coming to you again!

A truly wonderful and warm bed and breakfast. Eline and Sebastian are really top-notch hosts.The breakfast is homemade and is exclusively vegetarian and even predominantly vegan. <3There was the opportunity to make requests for breakfast ingredients, which were then addressed. The hosts were also extremely committed and helpful when picking up or dropping off at the train station.The optionally bookable sauna is a great way to relax, and in summer you can also visit the forest swimming pool, not far from the accommodation. I would definitely book this accommodation again and highly recommend it. :-)The B&B is queer-friendly.

We had a wonderful short vacation. Elina and Sebastian were very accommodating and always had tips for excursions. The breakfast was also simply fantastic, not a standard buffet, but lovingly prepared and brought to the table (tip homemade jam). No wish remained unfulfilled. Can only be recommended!

We had a great time in the lovingly run guesthouse with our little pug dog. What particularly appealed to us was the personal welcome and the breakfast. The balcony of our room was nice and big and the location was very nice :) just perfect relaxation :)

A perfect place to switch off and relax in nature!We've been on short vacations in the Harz several times, but we've never had it as idyllic as in "For the Trees": directly behind the accommodation there is a gently babbling stream that we could hear from our bedroom and even see from our spacious balcony. I think a vacation in the Harz Mountains couldn't sound (or look) nicer :-)I also thought it was great that we could go on hikes right behind the house through green forests and along extensive mountain meadows.Our “Unicorn Cave” suite was very cozy and lovingly furnished. I was particularly impressed by the extremely comfortable bed and the large balcony. Parts of the facility still seem a bit “old school” as the owners are still modernizing, but everything is wonderfully clean, well-kept and comfortable.Breakfast at "For the Trees" was always a great start to the day for us, because there was everything you could wish for, from fresh rolls and scrambled eggs to a delicious yoghurt dessert and fruit. I didn't expect such an offer given the size of the accommodation.In addition, breakfast was always a good opportunity to exchange a few words with the very nice and attentive hosts and to get tips for excursions and sights. You can tell that Eline and Sebastian put a lot of passion into running their bed and breakfast and that they are very keen to ensure that their guests have a good time. In our case they definitely succeeded, which is why we will be happy to come back :-)))

We had a wonderful long weekend with Eline and Sebastian. The two of them have given the rustic B&B a breath of fresh air that makes this place unique. The vegan/vegetarian breakfast was so delicious and the jams from the regional Kleine Hexerei in particular are a culinary delight. Our apartment was super spacious, had everything we needed and was right on the picturesque stream. Instant holiday feeling!Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back!

We had a great stay in this lovingly run guesthouse. Very tasty breakfast, warm and helpful hosts and a large, very clean and well-equipped room with a great balcony - what more could you want?In a quarter of an hour by car you can reach various larger towns with a selection of restaurants for coffee, dinner or excursions. There are some hikes that you can do directly from the accommodation. We'd love to come back!

Our vacation was like a dream! We were woken up by the sound of the small river and the chirping of birds. The location is great, surrounded by nature. It was very quiet and no moving cars. The hosts are very nice, helpful and make you feel at home. The breakfast is delicious and so filling with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. The apartment was very nicely equipped with kitchen utensils. Suitable for families with small children. Lots of activities in the area. We were given lots of tips on where to have dinner and what to see in the area. We look forward to our next trip!

We spent a weekend there with a few other people and dogs and are more than satisfied! We received a warm welcome, the rooms were comfortable and clean and we didn't miss anything during our stay. The dogs were just as welcome guests as we were. Gladly again! ♥️

We were there for a weekend with dogs and it couldn't have been better. Eline and Sebastian are wonderful and their B&B is filled with their warmth. We had a double room with a balcony facing the stream - everything was great! There were bowls, towels and a bed for the dog. Eline and Sebastian have a thousand tips for all matters - excursions, Komoot routes, restaurants. There are also lots of books and games if the weather is bad. We felt good. 5/5, we'll be back :-)

What the two of them created from scratch and had the courage to set up and run the business. Respect! Our room faced the river with a balcony, comfortable, practical. Everything you need. Cool idea with a self-service refrigerator in the breakfast room. Replaces the bar if you just want a nice drink. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. I was given spelled milk because I am allergic to cow's milk. Even so-called top cafes in prime locations often don't have THAT.
