We were just there for the wellness weekend and were really looking forward to a few days of relaxation... but that was spoiled as soon as we arrived because the staff at the reception was so unfriendly towards us... couldn't even tell us which rooms we get and where we can leave our luggage in the meantime because we had our first spa treatments shortly afterwards...but the spa area and its employees compensated us with their friendliness...it could only get better...the dinner was fantastic, the kitchen did an excellent job and the service staff (2 young ladies) had a lot of running to do. A 3 force would take some of the hectic out of it... on the day of departure there was another bad experience at breakfast (we understand that there was no such thing due to Corona There is a buffet) but this is not the best breakfast in the Black Forest when you serve such a sparse selection of sausages, cheese and bread rolls. When we asked whether we would get a second floor with everything, there was an incredibly cheeky answer (she only has 2 hands and other guests should also get something). We were so shocked that we couldn't react or say anything at all. It's a shame that these days ended like this. I therefore recommend visiting this hotel only for dinner and spa.

When we asked (!) we were told that the pool was out of service. There was nothing about it on the homepage at the time. However, I cannot say whether this is still the current status. If you value the spa area, be sure to check the actual status of things before arriving or paying. We are therefore refraining from future bookings at the moment. Very unfortunate.

The hotel hasn't paid its employees for months. It was once such a beautiful house, it's hard to understand how such a gem could be so run down. The public prosecutor should take a look at the Prima, Prisma or whatever GmbH that currently runs the hotel...

Everything OK. Very nice staff cleaning the rooms. It all seems a bit thrown together. With little attention to detail. The poor darkening in the room really bothered us. In addition, the pool was closed, which we were not informed about in advance.Restaurant very good. Breakfast okay.

Very nice hotel. The wellness area was also really cozy and nice, except that we weren't told on the phone that the pool was out of service and then we had to hear from an employee who wouldn't believe us that we hadn't been told.New Year's Eve 6 course menu was excellent, high praise for the kitchen
