So guys, it's awesome, I've been coming here regularly for almost 4 years now. Super centrally located, everything fits here. Susy Gambeck, the hostess, is super friendly and sometimes tries to make the impossible possible. The house is of course older and the rooms are simple, but extremely clean and some with a balcony. Beds are good. Prices are unbeatable for Oberstdorf, there is a small kitchen with a fridge and cold beer for everyone. Free parking spaces in the yard. And there are also some seating options in the garden.

I was there again last weekend with my biking freeks, As normal first class service from Suzi, outstanding as ever and always a joy to stay there. No other guest house will match Gambeck for its relaxed atmosphare. Down to earth, but fantastic. The team loved the beer fridge and not to forget a super breakfast. We have been going to Oberstdorfs and to Susi Gambeck again and again since 2004. It's just great and you feel really comfortable. The breakfast and the rooms are also fine. You can look at the ski jump from the balcony, and the spa park is not far either. It's just very beautiful, I can only recommend it. A special thank you to Susi and family.

We spent a lovely long weekend in Oberstdorf and with the Gambeck family. The house is very cozy and has a lot of personal charm. Ms. Gambeck herself makes everything possible so that everyone feels comfortable and is always available to give a hiking tip. However, anyone looking for etiquette or hotel standards would be wrong here... Cozy and approachable people feel at home here.Recommended at any time.

Cozy, somewhat rustic room. Very nice host mother who responds to the guests' wishes. The breakfast was also good and had everything we needed.Very attractively priced compared to other accommodations.

We spent 3 great nights in Oberstdorf with the Gambeck family. The house is very centrally located and yet quiet and relaxing. You can reach the Nebelhorn valley station or the ski jump in 5 minutes on foot. The car can theoretically stop. The hosts were very friendly and uncomplicated. Despite the full house, always tried hard and helpful. A very nice, familiar accommodation in the heart of Oberstdorf. It was also nice that drinks were available chilled at a low price and that someone was always available if you had any requests or questions!

Very nice hosts!We had a nice, very large room with a great view. Breakfast is lovingly prepared on bread boards. There is enough choice and enough to fill you up. The location in the heart of Oberstdorf is perfect. We would vacation in this house again at any time!

Unfortunately, we received no response to a very short-term request. Although we promised by phone that an offer would come during the day. The next day there was still nothing and there was no call back on the phone either, even though I tried several times.You probably don't need it, it's a shame that you treat future customers like that.___________________________As can be seen from the reaction to this review, the response was appropriate. That's why I corrected the rating from 1 to 3 stars. Unfortunately, the reaction only came immediately after the corresponding review. Coincidence?The reaction was very good, everything was done to win us as customers, and the offer was also very fair! Unfortunately, due to the short notice, we had already decided on a different offer.Nevertheless, a short interim information would have been good, then we would have undoubtedly shown patience. But we were completely up in the air and had to assume that we were unreliable.
