We left this hotel again today!The technical condition of the room leaves a lot to be desired, but the worst thing is the prevailing dirt and mold, especially in the bathroom!The service as if it didn't exist, instead of feeling the nice atmosphere of a small hotel, you can, on the contrary, feel the owners' lack of desire and joy in running this place.

Room was fine.No windows or doors could be opened at night because the owners' cat ran freely across the balcony and into the rooms.The staff was very unfriendly, starting with the fact that no owner was to be found at check-in, then in the morning at breakfast they weren't even greeted but were brought to the table with the words "you can sit there" and the woman ran away very quickly

Room was good, everything was there. Clean and well maintained. We didn't use breakfast. Coffee and tea were available at other times. Parking right in front of the door was free.

I left the guesthouse after one night, 6 nights were planned. The house smelled unbearably of heating oil, which made me feel sick. The noise from road and train traffic until 1:30 a.m. was unbearable. I didn't close the windows at night because I had to ventilate because of the smell. The facility is totally outdated. Unfortunately, I think €88/night in a single room (6m²) with bathroom including breakfast is excessive. The TV didn't work. Contacting the hosts to resolve the TV problem was once again not possible, neither by phone nor by text message. Previous email inquiries from me about arrival etc. were never answered. The probably Bulgarian hosts, some of whom didn't understand my language, are apparently resigned, curt and not at all warm hosts. The restaurant has not been operating for a long time. For me, who is not demanding, an absolute no-go. The gentlemen should look for other employment. For me, the family didn’t understand the business. A well-intentioned tip from me: “Look for another job.” The breakfast and the renovated bathroom do not improve the deficiencies described. A free parking space was provided for my bicycle. Thank you for that.

Small, rustic guesthouse. Breakfast buffet nicely decorated and sufficient. The railway line runs directly behind the guesthouse with good connections to Oberstdorf or Fischen. Price/performance good. Unfortunately the restaurant is permanently closed.

Price-performance ratio is still absolutely right here.I stayed here for one night for 50 euros.There was a room with a large bathroom right at the train stop to Oberstdorf and a great breakfast.Parking directly in front of the house. Therefore the tip is not to drive to Oberstdorf, but to use the train or bus.It took a while for the water in the bathroom to get warm, but it was bearable.The rooms were quiet even though the house is located directly on the train tracks and the street.Service was friendly and uncomplicated.Recommendation for anyone who wants to save on expensive accommodation in Oberstdorf and the surrounding area. I'll be back !

Rooms with renovated, spacious bathrooms, good mattresses and a rich breakfast.The only problem that could definitely be solved by the landlord was the slight smell of heating oil on the day I booked. Would I come here again?For sure.

Many thanks to the nice operators! We had a nice, large room with a dining area and balcony with a great view. Excellent breakfast with a beautiful view of the mountains. We felt very comfortable during our stay. Thank you also for the easy check-in👍

I have visited many hotels around the world, from 1 to 5 stars. I stayed at this hotel in August on my way to Breitachklammer. I can say that this is the best hotel in my life. Large rooms, beautiful views, tasty breakfast prepared by a beautiful lady, great location and, above all, great atmosphere that makes you want to come back there. I don't remember any hotel except that I would like to go back there. I don't understand why this hotel has such low ratings.

Sufficiently clean, very noisy due to the location between the main road and the railway line.Right next to the train stop, perfect for traveling without a car.

The reception was a disaster, check-in was not possible at 3 p.m....we stood in front of the hotel and no one was there. We rang and knocked but nothing moved. When we called the accommodation number there was a woman on the phone who told us harshly that we couldn't check in until 6 p.m.Great!We were not informed in advance in any way, an email or something similar with the information would have been enough, but nothing happened. There was also no notice on the entrance door!So we spent three hours in the cold...When we returned to the hotel at 6 p.m. there was a woman (the same one I had the pleasure of speaking to on the phone) who treated us very condescendingly.Not a friendly word came from her lips to welcome us or apologize for the inconvenience!Nothing!When we arrived in the room everything was ok at first.Then used the shower late at night and discovered that it hadn't been cleaned properly. There was hair everywhere.The radiator in the bathroom didn't work either.There was dog hair on the floor in the room itself :-(Just 🤮The TV didn't work either, so we went to bed early.The breakfast the next day was simple but OK.When we checked out, the unfriendliness continued...without asking us whether we were satisfied with our stay, we were quietly "saying goodbye".We were happy to finally be outside and started our journey home...Conclusion: once and never again!
