The single room has a new, very large bathroom with a walk-in shower. Unfortunately, there was a hanging lamp in the middle of the single room that tall people like me hit their heads on several times a day. You first have to look for a free socket.The very accommodating landlady wants to remedy the situation with the hanging lamp. The room is also big enough for one person, but is just as big as the very large bathroom. More space would have been desirable. The bed was comfortable and very large.What bothered me, however, was that the room was on the ground floor and had a very thin door, so that you could clearly hear the comings and goings of guests and the landlord, as well as conversations in the breakfast room.The breakfast was sufficient. The landlady took care of your physical well-being at breakfast and helped with information about Oberstdorf if you were there for the first time. Parking wasn't a problem either.Tiefenbach can easily be reached with a bus that runs regularly during the day and you can visit Oberstdorf without a car. However, you have to look for restaurants there.I have seen the holiday apartments and they are comfortable.

We stayed there for 5 nights last summer and we are back in the same suite as last year next week. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service is very good.Breakfast is fantastic, with a beautiful outdoor dining area with breathtaking views.We booked the newly renovated room, it’s better to book directly with the hotel than on booking, or other portals.Charging for ev is available and the parking fee is very reasonable.The wellness and activities are very good indeed, we’re looking forward to our next stay

Ms. Diethelm was a nice and friendly host, the breakfast was delicious, the rooms were very clean and comfortably furnished. A very quiet location, rooms with balconies and beautiful views. We will come again.

Very good guesthouse with high quality rooms and good facilities. Cable cars, bus and parking in Oberstdorf were included. Were on the mountain every day. Quietly located and great views of the mountains, about 3 km from Oberstdorf, close to the Breitachklamm. Nice landlady.

We had a great stay. The location is great for hikes. The room was really very large and clean. Breakfast also great. The owner gave us a great welcome and runs the hotel with a lot of love. Thank you for the great vacation and the tea😍

We were here in August 2020. Everything was wonderful. We would have liked real rolls for breakfast. Unfortunately there were only baked rolls, which were also rock hard. A pity!
