Very cozy, modern and beautiful accommodation to relax and feel good. Despite the central location, the tastefully renovated apartment is in a very quiet location with little car traffic. The bus station, town and shops can be reached in a maximum of 5 minutes on foot. We were able to leave the car parked almost the entire time. The balcony with a view of the extremely idyllic garden invites you to relax. The landlords were very loving and helpful. We felt completely welcome and comfortable with three generations. We didn't lack anything.

Beautiful, very modern and top (!!!) equipped holiday apartment, which was completely renovated in mid-2023. The apartment offers more than enough space for 4 people, so that every guest can get their well-deserved rest.The hosts themselves cannot be surpassed when it comes to warmth and helpfulness and are open to any concerns.The holiday apartment is in a prime location in Oberstdorf, i.e. a very quiet area, almost 0 car traffic and few pedestrians.But super central. Several shops (such as Lidl, Edeka, drinks market, bakery) and Sparkasse, but also the bus station (!), can be reached within 4-5 minutes on foot.With just a few more steps you are in the Oberstdorf pedestrian zone. It couldn't be better!As a family with two children, we immediately felt at home here and can only warmly recommend the apartment and landlord!

We visited with 5 people (2 adults, 3 children). The host family is very friendly and approachable at any time. We found a very modern, spacious and clean apartment. We had plenty of space so that we could retreat from time to time. The large dining table and the open kitchen were also nice, so you could always be there when cooking was going on. Nothing was missing. You could sleep with the window open without any problems as it was very quiet. Nevertheless, shopping opportunities and the train/bus station were only a 3-minute walk away. Thank you for this relaxing vacation!!!

Ideal starting point for excursions. Supermarkets, restaurants, train station and shops within walking distance. The apartment is very modern and equipped with everything you need. Everything is clean and very tidy. The Herzog family is very friendly and accommodating. The price for the overnight stay is more than fair, especially since the apartment has just been completely renovated. Thank you for the great holiday with you, we would come back at any time!

A modern, cozy apartment, very nice landlords, we slept like logs in the beds. Shop within walking distance and get to town quickly.

Dear Steffi and Dear Martin,We simply enjoyed our stay with you. For me, Herzog's Hüs is a place of pure relaxation and a real childhood memory. What you did with the first floor is absolute madness! I knew every room before the renovation and am absolutely speechless at how great this holiday apartment turned out. I couldn't have imagined it to be more beautiful. Will we come back? - definitely!!!! Valerio is already looking forward to seeing you and his new friends again.You simply have everything you need, the kitchen is well equipped, we didn't miss anything.We slept great, the beds/mattresses were brilliant. Thank you also for spontaneously setting up the cot.Everything is furnished with so much love and it shows. We didn't want to go home at all.I don't think I need to say much more, the photos speak for themselves. The atmosphere is just great.See you soon! Pfiat di. 😉❣️

Personally, I really liked it with Mr. Herzog. He can give lots of tips and show you the most beautiful hiking routes. There are lots of maps, books and information sheets in the accommodation. The location is great, 8 minutes from the train station on foot. The accommodation is very inexpensive and there is everything you need for a hiking holiday in the room. The breakfast is also very good.

We spent our winter vacation with Mr. Herzog. Rustic and cozy guesthouse - very clean - warm and familiar atmosphere - we felt comfortable and would like to come back!

28 euros for an overnight stay in a single room with breakfast, I haven't paid so little in Germany for a long time. What do you get for it in Oberstdorf, which is otherwise quite ambitious in terms of price? …

Cozy rooms, great breakfast, super nice people, affordable prices. Not so good: hardly any parking spaces in front of the house, the house is in a dead end. But it's only a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest public parking lot (P2), where you can park for free as a guest of the house. It's only a 5-10 minute walk to Oberstdorf train station/city center. Overall, highly recommended.
