Enzianhütte

I have visited several huts, but this is the best.We received a friendly welcome and were shown how everything works. Then the beds and tables were assigned. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was an 18 bed, mattress storage including sink, the beds and the room in general were extremely clean. The mattresses comfortable. For me as a guest it is important that you don't notice so much traffic in the corridors at night. A huge compliment to the solid doors and of course to the other guests. I really didn't hear anything at night. The other highlight of the hut is of course the wellness area. Here you have an amazing view of the Alpine panorama in the outdoor sauna. A jacuzzi outside and inside invite you to linger. There is also an infrared sauna shower, relaxation area and of course a very cold mountain lake behind the hut as a deterrent after the sauna.We were lucky enough to be there for the kitchen party including live music in the evening. This was the highlight of the evening. The food was extremely tasty and plentiful. The two musicians said kudos to the two of them for the exuberant atmosphere. The breakfast was very extensive and delicious. (little tip, try the scrambled eggs, they are very very good (I need the recipe)). There is also a small negative point: unfortunately the number of sockets for charging mobile phones is very limited. Or have I completely overlooked these? 🤗Finally, a very big thank you to the hut landlord for the great hours in the hut.We'd love to come back.

It was another very nice time in the hut in the snow up there.Daniel and his team were top notch in terms of both culinary and service. Also Herbert from Buchenberg with great and hearty hut music.

Super nice hut with a beautiful wellness area at 1800 m altitude, just great, dinner and breakfast also great.

The arduous climb is worth it. Unique view, panoramic sauna, great food, super friendly service... 5 points are still not enough
