It was our first time eating in this restaurant and not the last. Compliments to the kitchen and the service. The food was simply heavenly. We enjoyed it very much and would like to come back. A very successful evening and the prices are reasonable.

DANGER!!! RESTAURANT HAS ALL RATINGS: WORSE =3 DELETEDThe factual 3-star review below has been removed.A beautiful restaurant that attracted us for the third time because of its location and appearance. The food is very attractively prepared, but the quantity and quality do not quite match the prices. I would like to be almost full from a main course and a dessert. Shortly after the food was served, the obligatory question about whether everything was okay was missing, so we were unable to express our request for a salt/pepper shaker. The table had a lot of crumbs from the previous one. We waited two visits from the very friendly waiter to take our order and serve drinks until we cleaned the place mats ourselves. On the previous visit we waited 50 minutes for our ordered table. There was no invitation for a drink while waiting. After that, two dishes from the clear menu were no longer available. Small things that are significant given the prices asked. Here the expectations are for a perfect evening. Incredibly beautiful castle-style hotel. Great, large room with a great view of the sea. Wellness area is very good, with a relaxation area by the sea. Breakfast very good, staff incredibly friendly. Thank you for the great stay!

A cuisine that scores points with precision, excellent quality ingredients and creative interpretations. It starts with different bread variations and changing spreads, where you can already feel the freshness and seriousness of the cuisine. As a suggestion: serve with a classic buttery (caramel or smoked butter) spread. In any case, there is enough bread available. ;)Starters and main courses are accompanied by a selection of open wines, but there is also an attractive separate wine list.The open wine selection is convincing - the service is able to combine the right grape varieties with the dishes in a targeted manner. A little more explanation about the location, winemaker and grape variety would give the whole thing the finishing touch.Everyone will find themselves in the main courses - from vegetarians to pescatarians to omnivores. Every palate will find something here and will not be disappointed. Especially since, in addition to the evergreens, changing seasonal dishes are also offered.And if you still feel like it, you can indulge in the cheese platter (start with one for two people) or one of the lovingly decorated desserts.Meergut does a lot of things right and strives to improve further - in short: it's a pleasure to dine here.

An absolute top restaurant, in a different league. Quite expensive of course, but the price is good. All stylish and tasty, creatively prepared food that will fill you up. We had the skrei, the saddle of venison and beef (fillet and ox cheek), absolutely tender meat and everything cooked to perfection. Dessert - Creme Brulee - also with a special pep. We'll be back, the waiter was great too!
