I'm not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. Unfortunately, I don't share that opinion at all, for the following reasons:1. The sauna. It's highly advertised on the website and I was really looking forward to it. In reality, the sauna is only open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and only 4 people are allowed in with registration. You can imagine that it is virtually impossible when the campsite is full. There is also a 12€ surcharge. The last point to keep in mind is that you wouldn't turn on the sauna for one person. It's a shame as a solo traveler. None of this is communicated on the website.2. Shower. The sanitary facilities are very nice. Unfortunately the showers turn off automatically after 3 minutes (!!) and that's it. Absolute disgrace, especially in winter when you're cold. There is also no area where you can "get ready" with a mirror or something. You should also make sure to shower in daylight, as the light goes out quickly and stays off until you get out of the shower.3. Service. I asked for help with a disturbance (a techno party on the square). I was told that I should please speak to them myself. As a woman traveling alone, I find it difficult to approach a huge group of drunk men, but even otherwise I would have expected immediate action from the staff.4. Checkout. 10 a.m. Without leeway. Why so early? They don't exactly have to change beds.Positive: the location by the sea is very nice. The fitness room is also well equipped.

We love visiting this place in the early and late season. The place is well maintained, the reception staff are friendly and helpful. At the small bar you can find anything that tastes good. (Currywurst, fries and Aperol ;-)Every year there are innovations and additional comfort. The sanitary building IV is perfectly located for the “comfort sunny” area, functionally equipped and always very clean.
We are already looking forward to our next stay.

We spent a week in the Ostseecamp for the first time in mid-October and I have to say: we are very impressed. We booked relatively long in advance and got a seat (65) in the front row with a direct view of the Baltic Sea.Check-in and arrival went completely smoothly, the barrier has license plate recognition. This eliminates the hassle of pushing cards. The sanitary facilities are top, clean, sustainable and easily accessible from all locations. The pitches are sufficiently large (I would estimate between 80 and 120 square meters) and you have enough space for your neighbors. Electricity is available for everyone, water is “only” available at the comfort pitches. It didn't bother us much, but it should be mentioned. The place offers something for everyone: a little entertainment for the little ones, but this was never disruptive. Two nice restaurants: a pizzeria and a burger restaurant. The burgers were first class, the chilli cheese fries a revelation. Kudos to the chef. The value for money and the ambience at the burger bar were also very, very good. Had a little Caribbean flair. Super!Overall, the course more than deserves its official 4.5 stars. I think if there was a water connection everywhere, it would definitely be five stars. We (2 adults, 2 teenagers and a Labradoodle ;) ) liked it so much that we booked again for Easter 25. Definitely one of our top 3 places so far! Keep it up. Many greetings from the Ruhr area.

As always, we enjoyed it very much. We have been coming to this campsite for years and have already booked for next year. I have 2 small suggestions for improvement. First of all, their sanitary building is beautiful, but it's very annoying when the light goes out too quickly and you're standing in the dark while showering. The motion detectors should be set longer. And the second suggestion for improvement: my little daughter can't shower alone yet, so I went with her to the children's bathroom. I think you could perhaps separate the shower area from the hull of the ship with shower curtains where the benches are to create more privacy. Not every mom likes it when dads come in with their children and you're showering. As a mom, you just have to shower with us because you'll be wet afterwards anyway. These would be my suggestions for improvement. With kind regardsAlexandra Matthew

Best location and there is always something going on here.We have been on the site with several families and motorhomes we are friends with for a few years now. Great animation program for young and old, cozy anchor bar with the best view and right on the dog beach. In addition, very modern and extremely clean sanitary facilities, fitness studio, sauna, cinema, restaurant, etc.Always great.
