Ideal for youth groups and school classes. Christina and Jörg try to fulfill every wish. Unfortunately, there are no showers or toilets in the rooms. But this is easy to get over, the carers have their own showers and toilets. The accommodation is clean. The food was good and more than sufficient, there were always seconds. Come back (not a threat, a promise).

We have been going to Langeoog for a week for several years. The island is fantastic and the location of the island home is ideal for reaching all the important spots on Langeoog.The cuisine is varied and special requests are always taken into account. We have been going to the OWD home with our 6th graders for over 25 years. The food is good and plentiful, the staff friendly and flexible. Given the price-performance ratio, the facility is highly recommended for groups. See you next year!

We were guests of the Janssen family on a school trip and felt very comfortable - we would love to come back!The accommodation on Friesenstrasse is very centrally located - in just a few minutes you can reach the shopping street, the train station, the supermarket and everything else you need.The house itself is very clean and well maintained, the furniture is a bit older, but that's completely ok. The sanitary facilities are also clean and tidy.The food is great and varied - and we all enjoyed it very much! Even for my colleague, who follows a vegan diet, the food was always freshly cooked and the food was varied.We particularly liked that Mr. and Mrs. Janssen were always on site as contacts and we felt that we were in good hands.I can only recommend the accommodation for a school trip - the children and we teachers had a great time on the island!

For 5 years in a row we went to the school camp in Langeoog and werealways well accommodated in the OWD homes with the Janssen family.Fantastic location in the immediate vicinity of the village center, shops,Ice cream parlor, indoor seawater pool, beach. All-round care, optionBring bed linen or rent it on site for a small fee.Material for possible rainy days and much more. Regarding food, everyone was providedWishes fulfilled: whether lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian... noneProblem. Next year we will cover the 800 km againto spend a wonderful week in the newly renovated OWD homesto spend.

We have often visited the Janssen family at the OWD home with our school and will continue to go there. We take the long journey from southern Germany to spend our school camp on the beautiful island of Langeoog.The price-performance ratio is great: great location, very nice hosts, simple but very clean and well-kept accommodation.We are already looking forward to our next stay :-)

We have been going to the OWD Schullandheim Gartenstrasse for the sixth year now and have always had good experiences. The accommodation is simple but clean. The food is varied and doesn't come out of the deep fryer! There is salad or fruit with every lunch/dinner. The owner and staff are nice and will help you at any time! Simple but recommended accommodation in a great location.
