Yes, the hotel is getting old. But the price-performance ratio is good! We couldn't complain about the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness or the selection of food!If you want luxury, you have to want to pay for it.Even on Friday evening at 10 p.m. (short circuit due to a defect in the television) the building technician came immediately and even brought a brand new television!!!!

After 10 years we were like in Morada.I have to say it still has a bit of Eastern charm. The sea view room is sensational. You can see that the shower door has had its best days behind it.Unfortunately the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired! The fact that there is no minbar or refrigerator...well, you can live with it in the fall. You're just relying on 75+ guests who can't even enjoy the miserable breakfast. It's also my fault that the price for 3 days is completely overpriced, I shouldn't have booked it.The exclusively foreign employees are very helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back because I like Ostalgie and the view of the lake is unique.Bg Ralf B.

Unfortunately I can only agree with the worse reviews. The only thing that was really great was the location. Not recommended for younger guests with children as there were ONLY pensioners in the house. Nothing against pensioners, but very, very noticeable. The sports options on offer, e.g. bowling, didn't work at all, with billiards you had to be very patient for the balls to come out, there was no table tennis (as described), the swimming pool is closed on Sundays (it says nowhere!!!), very long distances, as everything is in the lower area of the hotel. Bicycle rental is also not offered by the hotel, according to the description, at breakfast you are NOT allowed to choose your own place and if you don't drink coffee, you have to have a cappuccino, for example pay extra. For the far too high room price with breakfast, you can expect that you don't have to pay extra. At dinner (30 euros per person!!!!) you have to ask the chef if you can eat with us (where can you get something like that) (in the Morada) - that's what the receptionist said. All I can say about the cleanliness of the room is that it needs to be made much better for the price!! There was dust everywhere, the floors hadn't been vacuumed, the phone was greasy, there were small stains on the small decorative pillows, there was old toothpaste residue on the sink, the corners of the shower basin were "black". Considering that it seemed to be a pensioner's hotel, there was NO step in the bathroom be!!! The bathroom is also very small WITHOUT counter space!A conversation with the (extremely nice - irony) managing director didn't bring much, except that we were allowed to use the swimming pool next door on Sunday as compensation. The staff (90% non-German) tried hard, but according to them they "only" work there and couldn't really help me.All that was left for us was to leave early! I've been traveling a lot, but this was the most unpleasant so far. It's a shame, it was supposed to be an attractive vacation for my child and I, but unfortunately there was nothing we could do. We definitely won't be coming back.

The really good thing is the location and that's it. The joints in the bathroom were moldy and it smelled disgusting. The room in general was ok but also smelled extremely bad, really old and rancid. The breakfast... well you didn't have to starve, but something else is nice. Some of the dishes were dirty and after 9 a.m. many of them were no longer there. Then the proportion of pensioners is at least 90 percent. No problem, they should go on vacation too, but the offers were tailored just to them. Over 60 day tours, walker rental, etc. It's sad if you only focus on this target group. We definitely didn't like it and we won't book here again.

Good reviews can only be fake. The pool is closed on Sundays, probably for cost reasons. Wanted to spend a night here and go swimming. The breakfast is like in the youth hostel with baked rolls, cold cuts from old times and lukewarm coffee. The rooms are completely outdated.

The hotel is getting old. It usually smells like food on the ground floor. Exactly 1 socket in the room. You will be assigned a table during meals. Unfortunately, you have to reveal your own name at the table and on an open list at the entrance.

The reception staff are nice, friendly and helpful. But otherwise... As soon as you get to the entrance you feel like you're in a retirement home! 😃 See photo! Definitely not for young people.
