Very nice rooms, good location, very friendly and helpful staff.Very rich breakfast buffet and use of the wellness area with several saunas and swimming pool is also included.

Good breakfast, not too much, not too little. Friendly staff and very helpful. Great location for a beach visit at Dog Beach West. Equally well connected to shops and restaurants.15 minutes to the beach. 10 minutes towards the shopping mile.Unfortunately our beds were very soft. So we couldn't sleep well.You can't have everything, but unfortunately it's worth the points deduction.

For over 300 EUR/night we got an outdated suite with broken furniture, a missing refrigerator, a large gap in the door, broken window handles and no air conditioning. Carelessly designed children's play area. …

Our stay was simply fantastic! The rooms are beautifully designed and very stylish. The interior of the hotel is impressive and creates a great atmosphere. I would particularly like to highlight the incredibly friendly and helpful staff who made our stay unforgettable. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back! The hotel is also extremely pet-friendly, which made our stay even more pleasant.

We were totally thrilled.Breakfast top. Room cleaning can only be requested every three days, but you can request it more often if necessary.The highlight is the suite with a whirlpool in the room ;-)

We were there for the second time. Great service, the reception is great and the breakfast is rich and delicious. The only downer is that the beds are too soft for me. But everyone likes it differently and you can't please everyone. For a weekend again and again

Our short stay was very, very nice. When I booked the room directly through the hotel and not through Booking, the advance processing was so friendly and accommodating. I had asked for a few requests that were implemented without any problems and in an exemplary manner. Starting with the extra for breakfast to pre-booking a table in the Schiffchen restaurant, which also belongs to the Kolb Group. I wanted a nice, discreetly designed table in the restaurant because it was my girlfriend's birthday. This was passed on in exactly the same way and implemented there very well. But the friendly lady at the reception in the Retro Hotel made this wish even better. When we got to the room, we found a surprise there too. We were completely blown away and so excited! Everything was lovingly prepared. Really so great!!!!!After just a few seconds of arriving, you could tell that the friendly young woman at the reception really enjoyed her job. She always found very kind words and immediately made you feel welcome. She also had an eye on the breakfast room, like everything else apparently... Mega!We can fully recommend booking here. We were certainly not here for the last time.Thank you to the Hotel Kolb team at Retro u Schiffchen. You're doing a great job! And it is very, very pleasant for the guest! We wish you only pleasant guests, see you soon

We spent several nights at the Hotel Retro Design and were really impressed. Starting with the large room including a large balcony and, as a highlight, a whirlpool right next to the bed. The bed mattresses were relatively soft.There is a cheap bike rental service just around the corner from the hotel, but you can also reach the village center quite quickly on foot.Another highlight is certainly the breakfast buffet, which is open until 11 a.m. and leaves nothing to be desired. From classic bread and rolls with various spreads, cheeses, sausages, etc., juices, fully automatic gastro coffee machines, various types of tea, English breakfast to fresh waffles.By default, the room is “only” cleaned every third day, but upon request it can also be cleaned every other day.The staff is really nice too!All in all, we really liked the hotel and can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Like all the other 3 years, it was excellent. Everything was fine. What's new is that you have to pay for drinks from the "bar", i.e. the opportunity in the entrance to get a drink outside of normal times. This could be due to the current situation or because it simply got out of hand because it doesn't cost anything and you can take as much of it as you want. You can, but you shouldn't because then something like this can happen. We don't think it's bad or reprehensible if it's situation-related, but if it's because of greed because it's free, inconsiderate and understandable from the hotel. Nevertheless, we will come back

Very nice place, quiet and close to the center. The equipment on the balcony was a bit poor. The room is only cleaned every 3 days. Beds freshly made etc., unless you want multiple cleanings. 2 days would be ok. Very friendly welcome at reception!! Excellent breakfast buffet 🥰🥰

We liked it, the location is great, close to the center and close to the beach. Our room was very large. The beds weren't that comfortable, but you have to live with that. The mattress was very very soft, difficult for people with back problems. Room service only every 3 days, which in principle wouldn't be bad if you at least had a hand brush and a dustpan, because a holiday on the beach also brings with it a lot of sand, which can then be found everywhere :-) The breakfast was very tasty, great selection at the buffet, if you didn't get enough, it was your own fault.
