I booked one bed in (4 beds -hostel room) in this beautiful picturesque villa for 2 nights. The villa is surrounded by few more nice houses and mountains. The villa 's entrance is very close to the Bus stop (367 to Altenberg Bahnhof). If you take a small walk around this Bärenfels village you will see the stream of flowing water and the mountains. The place is a perfect weekend getaway both for family and for backpackers like me. I came to Altenberg to attend skiing courses. The ski schools are nearby and is accessible with buses. The nearest supermarket is Edeka at Altenberg Bahnhof. The villa has a very well equipped kitchen. So cooking and having a breakfast in its big kitchen glass paned balcony with a view of mountains will be great. The bathroom is not attached it is shared(for hostel rooms) but very well maintained and is clean. The host is very friendly and welcoming. I would like to stay in this place again next time also

The new hostel in the Ore Mountains is immaculate and welcoming. A clean and comfortable hostel in the heart of the Ore Mountains. The friendly owners ensure that guests feel comfortable and are happy to help with any questions or requests. The location is ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking. The fully equipped kitchen allows guests to prepare their own meals. Different room types are available to suit guests' needs. A perfect starting point to explore the Ore Mountains.

Nice guesthouse with both private and shared rooms. Very modern and well-equipped self-catering kitchen. Glassed-in wintergarden lounge area for relaxing and having meals in. Great value, great base for active travellers.
