We spent 2 wonderful days at the Falkenhain inn. The innkeepers were very friendly and we even had the opportunity to eat there in the evening. Our food was delicious and freshly prepared. The rooms are a bit old, but we felt comfortable and everything was clean. We will come again.

It's just beautiful ☀️👍We booked a long weekend and were absolutely not disappointed. After the hearty breakfast, we were able to have a nice chat with the innkeepers and get various tips so that we could make the most of our day - despite the not-so-great weather. At dinner nothing was left to be desired and the room was also great. Thank you for this wonderful time. We'll be back - guaranteed.

First of all, if you're looking for peace and quiet, you've come to the right place. That's it. We were also asked to do so by Booking com. to cancel in order to book directly. The rooms were offered with their own bathroom, but a double room had to share the extremely small bathroom with the single room. The condition of the hotel is very dilapidated. The toilet wobbles on the wall, as does the sink. The hallway smells strongly of stale kitchen, when we ventilated we were insulted for supposedly bringing moisture into the house. The heating was constantly turned down and it was cold when we got home. Breakfast very simple, coffee was good. Soljanka was okay, seasoned meat from a can, Carlsbad slices without comment. In short, never again.

Unfortunately very dubious.We booked through booking.com. During a phone call with the hosts, they urged us to cancel on booking.com and book directly through them.Unfortunately, we did that too.When we got there we paid for the four nights and asked for the bill. Unfortunately, we only received a note with the amount, company stamp and signature, but without a date, tax number, etc.Breakfast only consisted of white rolls with toppings.The rooms were old-fashioned, dusty and half a painkiller, probably from the previous guest, was still lying in a glass on the table.When we asked for the password for WiFi, we were rudely advised not to download anything illegal.It was by far the worst accommodation we have ever booked and we travel very often.Never again!!!!

The rooms were simple and cozy. There was even a small kitchen. Shower and toilet worked perfectly. We enjoyed the wonderful sunset every day from the small terrace. The boss and lady boss were extremely friendly and we felt right at home. Happy to come back 😁

Totally sweet and warm. Guests can also enjoy half board here. Simple home cooking served with love! Very family-run business with simple rooms but a beautiful location! Many excursions in the area for hiking and motorcycle fans!

People, stay away!!! Unreliable to the power of 3!My brother had booked 3 double rooms + 2 single rooms at the beginning of the year for our planned tour over Ascension Day (extended weekend). Everything was confirmed and so we planned the tours and looked forward to the weekend. 12 days before arrival we received an email from the owner saying we had to be rebooked into a single room, a double room and a 5-bed room. ARE YOU CRAZY!!!???!!!That doesn't work at all!Actually, the reviews are consistently good, which is why we chose this accommodation. But since today we know that what happened to us is not an isolated case but common practice here!Even the 1 star is still too much for that, but unfortunately you can't give 0 or - stars!

3 nights felt like staying with mom. Warm welcome, top food, best view, quiet location. We were served very well, but never intrusively. The boss cooks himself, 1a kitchen.We'll be back!Many thanks to the Schwenke family.

Never again.We have had 4 days at this guest house. 1 day in a standard double room and 3 days in an apartment. We had to give 100 euros per night, which to that extent is not reflected in the guest house. The small room was dirty and smelled musty. There was also no soap in the room. The apartment was bigger and newer than the room but was also very dirty. The kitchen is ridiculous and cannot be used for much as there is very little furniture. There were no tea towels or dish brush, only a very old worn out sponge for cleaning dishes etc. Very unsanitary in general. We asked for toilet paper, tea towels and something to wash up with but never got any. WiFi does not work on site at all. There vsr a covered terrace on which you could smoke, just not if it rained a lot, so water would get into the apartment. We respected this, and last night it was dripping outside, not enough that you couldn't smoke on the terrace, which resulted in the owner coming flying out of the house and yelling and screaming at us to go inside or smoke on the other side of the house , after which he disappears again. In general, you did not feel welcome at any time. There is a restaurant in locations with small prices, but the food is directly frozen food, so if you want to pay 9 euros for a frozen schnitzel with fries, that's probably fine enough. Always somewhere I put my feet again.Would give 0 stars but not possible here.
