Was there for dinner and was warmly welcomed. The selection is more extensive than many other regional restaurants without sacrificing quality. Delicious! Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms as I was only there to eat. But the atmosphere was really nice.

Be pampered and relax...I have been spending relaxing holidays with the Stangl family for 37 years now and am still extremely satisfied... Delicious food at a good price and generous portions...., clean, comfortable rooms and always friendly service.... Wishes are fulfilled if it's possible and I would never book myself anywhere else... a holiday at the Gasthof "Zum Signalstein" is highly recommended……I say thank you until next time 👍

I love restaurants like that. Simply furnished with the charm of the 70s. Tasty beer (Mager Pottenstein) and very reasonable prices. The food is excellent and the portions are filling. IMPORTANT: You MUST reserve. A really good Franconian economy that is remote, but a great starting point for things to do. I would like to point out: I love Franconian hospitality and that often includes “Franconian cold charm”. It doesn't bother me and you can often get a bit of humor and warmth out of the dry Franconian style. BUT these innkeepers here are really mumbability personified. I really had to deduct another star. And I'm really someone who always approaches people in a warm, down-to-earth manner.

Super tasty and very cheap eaten. A simple village inn - unfortunately there are only a few of them left. We received a friendly welcome, but we also called briefly beforehand. Thank you very much, we will be back.

Rarely have I experienced a less friendly reception.We wanted to stop here after a hike on Sunday late afternoon/evening. When I entered the restaurant at 4:45 p.m. and asked when something warm to eat would be available again, the only reply was a brisk "not yet, only from 5." We would have liked to have waited another quarter of an hour, but at the same moment the innkeeper looked at the clock on the wall and gave us a “only at 5:30 today”.How unkindly can you react?You definitely won't meet us here again and I can only advise everyone against it.
