Average stay with some disappointmentsWe spent a few days at this hotel with our two children (3 and 6 years old) and overall had mixed experiences. First of all, the positive: The food was really good, both for us adults and for the children. There was a selection that everyone enjoyed and the staff in the restaurant were also friendly.I found it a bit worrying one afternoon at the cake buffet that shortly after it started there were only two cakes left and one was alcohol. It has to be said that all the children served themselves there independently, but I don't know whether the cake wouldn't have been better kept somewhere else.Unfortunately, there are also some points of criticism. The sauna area was very disappointing. There was visible rust on the shower heads and soap holders, and the anteroom to the outdoor sauna smelled extremely musty, which made staying there really unpleasant. A renovation is urgently needed here. Although some of the staff tried to be friendly, they often seemed to be overwhelmed due to the high workload, which was noticeable in the quality of service. There were toys in the entrance area that seemed to be available for purchase, but the windows were so dirty and full of dead insects that I had to spare my children from looking at them. This was really unsavory and shouldn't happen in a 4 star hotel. The playground was nice for the children, but it was also in need of renovation in places. There was also a lack of parking spaces, which was particularly annoying since we traveled by car. Overall, I think the hotel's 4 stars are a bit excessive, because I honestly expected more for the price. Watching TV in the evening is not possible because you can't get a program in without any disruption.I will not explain all the points in detail here. All in all an average stay and if you don't have too high expectations it's fine.

Great family hotelThe hotel is easily accessible in the picturesque town of Pfronten. There are parking spaces in front of the hotel, but the parking situation is sometimes a bit difficult due to the location. At the reception you will be welcomed in a very friendly manner and informed about everything important. There you will also be given the Königscard, which gives you free entry to many different attractions. The rooms in the hotel are rather rustic, but nicely decorated. Everything has been thought of for families with small children. The food in the hotel leaves nothing to be desired. With the all-inclusive plan you get 4 meals per day. Starting with the delicious breakfast, where you can have various hot meals prepared straight away.Lunch is a little smaller because there isn't much activity there because many holidaymakers are visiting surrounding attractions. For afternoon coffee there is a larger selection of cakes and various savory sandwiches. There is always fruit too. A fully automatic machine supplies you with coffee specialties. For dinner there is always a themed buffet with different dishes. There is always a children's buffet for the children and there are also plenty of drinks and porridge available for babies. You can get your own drinks at any time from the dispenser. In the evening there are delicious cocktails at the bar. A highlight for the children are the children's cocktails, which are also available at the bar.In the hotel itself there is a nice small swimming pool with a larger pool and a toddler area with a slideThere is a nice, large playground at the hotel with lots of different play equipment.Children can be accommodated in the Happyclub for care. The loving carers on site look after the children and offer them a varied program. There are many different activities you can do in and around Pfronten. Many attractions are described in the Königscard booklet. All in all, this holiday is a completely carefree package for families. If you want to be pampered, this hotel is highly recommended.

Both of our children (1 and 3 years old) started vomiting (which had nothing to do with the hotel food because it was great). After there was no improvement in sight, we decided to go home. We had booked 3 nights and ended up only staying 1 night. We received a voucher for the other two nights. The perfect solution for us.Thank you again for your courtesy and see you soon!

During the last few days we were guests at the hotel again (for at least the twelfth time) on the occasion of a short trip.As always, we felt very comfortable!Even the arrival feels like coming home to friends and you feel welcome in the hotel from the first minute. Without exception, all employees constantly do their best to ensure that all guests are completely satisfied. The all-inclusive premium concept is fantastic, starting with breakfast, lunch and afternoon coffee with cake, right up to changing themed buffets with show cooking in the evening, you will be pampered with the finest culinary delights. All drinks and even the most diverse cocktails at the bar are included in the price. The children have their own children's meal and ice cream.Baby and toddler food as well as any additional equipment required is also available. The whole thing is only “crowned” by the so-called “Königscard”, which enables a variety of free leisure activities in the area. The burden on the holiday fund on site can therefore remain manageable. Some areas of the hotel are getting old, but in all the years that we have been coming to the hotel, we have been able to experience step by step renovations, optimizations and modernizations. And some things simply add to the charm of the house. The parking lot at the house and the swimming pool are sometimes a bit tight, but these are simply current circumstances and if everyone shows some consideration for each other, no problem at all.We can only recommend a stay at Bavaria and look forward to further visits where we can hopefully experience further positive changes!

It was our first time there and also our first time in a family hotel. We were so excited. The children aged 3 and 7 got their money's worth. The play area was great and had something for everyone. The child care was great and the ladies were all very nice and friendly. The location is fantastic and the food is great. It was balanced, fresh and had everything your heart could desire. The children's cocktails in the evening were the highlight for the children. The inviting swimming pool was great and of course a dream for the kiddis. Overall it was beautiful and the staff (really everyone we interacted with) was incredibly friendly. All in all, it seemed completely thought out. I traveled alone with my children, we had a place to eat right next to the children's buffet and play area where my children could move freely and I could eat in peace. Next to us there was a mother traveling alone with a child, which was of course great and we started talking. 5 stars fully deserved. View from the hotel is fantastic.

We were looking for a hotel with children at short notice for the weekend. And we ended up in the right place at the Bavaria Hotel. Super sweet and nice staff, very sensitive when it comes to children. We really can't say anything bad and would recommend it to anyone with children.
