Simply an impudence.Day spa offer for €96 per person is not value for money.Mold in the wellness area, the welcome cocktail is grape juice... many saunas or infrared cabins don't even work.At dinner the second dish was already out…. Spezi was also out.I have never been to such a bad day spa in my entire life!!!

A very nice hotel with a fantastic view of the valley and the castle. We would love to come back.

I was very disappointed and wanted to book with 5 treatments for around 300 euros. I was reported really harshly several times on ☎️. I had enough of looking for another hotel where the customer was still worth something. I've never experienced so much unprofessionalism.

We loved this wellness hotel and visited it again and again for over ten years. For us, the journey via rustic country roads (we live only about 80 km away) has always been a highlight; the hotel was once premium, from the room to the breakfast and spa area. Due to its smaller size, it is always pleasantly quiet, the view is unique and, especially in winter, it is always a dream to look down on the illuminated Eichstätt in the warm spa area. Everything is very important to us, it simply corresponds to our sense of demands. Unfortunately, we already noticed in 2022 that the level had dropped significantly, and in 2023 it took on unsightly dimensions. A lot of things are very worn out, worn out, and don't work, especially in the spa area. The outer and inner pools are considerably too cold, and the outer one could hardly be used for three days because it was covered. Reports about this at reception were always justified with excuses and people were put off, even because the steam sauna didn't work. The only thing that actually seemed to have been replaced were the mattresses - much to our chagrin. They were so extremely hard that we bought a topper the next morning in Eichstätt. We complained about this when we left; instead of apologizing, we were confrontational and portrayed us as complaining guests, which we perceived as extremely rude and left us very annoyed during the journey after we left.Even at breakfast we realized how much class everything had lost and this was also noticeable in the other guests, some of whom displayed vulgar behavior. The fact that, as a dog-hair allergy sufferer, I have to put up with a dog at the neighboring table in the breakfast room because there is no ban on dogs speaks for itself. Such a situation would never have arisen among people with a certain level of decency, but that also shows the level to which the hotel has reduced itself when there were a few such guests on site, something that didn't exist before. Speaking of the breakfast table. A lot of things were permanently missing, and there were significant savings compared to before. The fact that a pot of coffee is no longer brought and everyone now has to go to the only (!) coffee machine with their cup is also a no go. I stood more than I sat. By the way, the minibar in the room was empty the last two times!We experienced all of this with great regret! This wellness hotel gave us a wonderful end to the year over many winters and we felt so comfortable that we would have liked to book again for next year. The applications also used to be carried out by very professional staff! But that's just how it is, things come, things go...Unless this hotel as a whole receives a thorough renovation, including mattresses with softer comfort, and the other things mentioned are not raised to an adequate level again, we will no longer book there and we therefore unfortunately cannot recommend it, because simply the price/performance ratio is no longer given at all. At this point and finally a comment about the kitchen. We are used to higher-priced cuisine. We can't classify the restaurant's there. The menu sounds tempting, but the quality is still far from star level and can be rated as slightly above average. We have therefore considered the prices to be “cheap prices” in recent years and have always sought out local locations.

We only went to the restaurant for dinner, so I can't say anything about the hotel.We had reserved a table and since the weather was nice we wanted to sit outside on the terrace. Two tables were put together for us; they were not the same height and constantly wobbled. The waiters noticed this but did nothing about it. The food was also very bland on the plates, I ordered asparagus with potatoes. The portion was also very small for the high price (€18.90). The waiters didn't clear the plates after the meal, nor did anyone ask if everything was okay.I wouldn't go there to eat again for the price and the poor service. Nice view but unfortunately nothing more.

Cyclists, no thanks. - Feigned friendliness.Access is only possible via the B13.Steep, narrow federal highway with heavy truck traffic. Accident focus.It is not advisable to ride these as a cyclist.We politely asked by telephone whether access was possible elsewhere.The lady at the reception felt overwhelmed and promised that the boss would call us back at short notice.... which never happened, not even after friendly recollection.What remains? A cheeky answer about booking and a cancellation fee of 193 euros.
