Through experience in many hotels, I can say that I have never been offered such a high quality and diverse buffet.I'm happy to cut corners on room service. This place is hard to beat for its location and tranquility.

My wife and I stayed at the Stellshagen manor house with our mother/mother-in-law for two nights and were not at all satisfied. We paid around EUR 700 for two rooms (including food). We were accommodated in a kind of barracks in which the hotel's accounting department was on one side and a private person who lived there permanently was on the other side. When we entered the part intended for guests, we were greeted by cobwebs and dirty skylights. We then squeezed ourselves up the stairwell - which was very difficult for my mother, who is in her mid-70s, with head ducking and the like. Age-appropriate and safe is different. When we got to the top, we noticed that the house/barrack was sinking inwards. This meant that the rooms had a steep slope from the floor. You can probably imagine how you sleep there. The rooms were probably renovated at the end of the 1990s (+/-). Stylistically, it all left a lot to be desired: If you consider that you are staying in an inn/hotel that costs a lot of money and you take a moment to imagine the condition of this barrack, both stylistically and structurally, you can only say: that that was an outrage. A shower/toilet (which didn't flow properly) was shared by three people - unfortunately completely dark as there were no windows. The food in the manor house was great (although not exquisite) - the atmosphere in the dining room was more like a canteen (loud and uncomfortable) or like a youth hostel. The interior of the manor house has definitely seen better days (probably renovated in the 1990s). Either way - the receptionist was understanding and friendly, but we won't be visiting again. In our case the price-performance ratio was absolutely not there and we were very disappointed.

Recommended, top hotel. Although the hotel is 100% vegan/vegetarian, nothing was missing. The rooms were modern and ecologically furnished. Please note, however, that there was no television, but you can book it. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet. The view from our room was really great. The hotel is nestled between fields...you can go hiking here or explore the surrounding area by bike.

Today I give 5 stars to the friendly, radiant chef Ahmad.Today he conjured up an extra dessert for me made of mango and cashews, sooooo fresh and delicious. A poem.

We had a very nice stay at the Stellshagen manor house. The house and entire property/property are beautiful. In the middle of nature surrounded by fields and forest. It is very quiet and you can really relax wonderfully. The natural pool/bathing pond is a dream, as is the view and relaxation area. There are various saunas and a wide range of massages and treatments. We had a good time despite the gray and not great weather. The atmosphere there is very nice, which is also due to the friendly and courteous staff. The food tastes very good and there is also a lot of choice if you are vegetarian. There is also a good range of gluten-free alternatives, which I think is great. Even if you eat vegan, you won't go hungry here and everything that was offered was really delicious. Unfortunately, as a vegan you are somewhat limited and have to cut back a bit here too. Of course, it's fair to say that the hotel markets itself as a vegetarian and not a vegan hotel and you can see that in the offering. All in all very recommendable. We had a great time. Thank you!Suggestions for improvement with a view to your future vegan guests would be ☺️:A simple tofu “scramble” or vegan “omelette” would greatly enhance the breakfast for vegans. So I actually only ate raw vegetables for breakfast (along with a few vegan spreads), which makes no difference to a hotel that offers mixed foods. The lunch soup can also be made creamy with plant-based cream, then it would be edible for everyone (unfortunately this was not the case in the bistro at the swimming pond). There was a really good selection at dinner: the soup was vegan (and gluten-free) on all three evenings, at least 2 of the 5 main courses were vegan (and at least one was vegan and gluten-free) and always very tasty. However, on at least one evening there was no vegan dessert. Maybe you would have gotten something if you asked, I can't judge that (but definitely). If you have booked half board or the full menu in the evening, it is of course initially disappointing. We didn't book half board because we booked through Booking.com and not directly and this option wasn't even available there. We still ate there all three evenings. It might therefore be a good idea to ask guests about this when checking in and also to inquire about their preferences (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free) in order to then adapt the offer accordingly.

I had booked the Ayurvedic health treatment in Stellshagen. And it was just wonderful. The treatments carried out by Julia and Olaf were such a big help for my body. You get a good understanding of the Ayurvedic principle. This is how it works in everyday life. The manor house is very cozy. I had room 28. So to speak, you live in a spacious shared apartment with three separate, habitable rooms. The apartment is very friendly and I met wonderful people. The nature around the manor house is extremely well maintained and is surrounded by fantastic nature. I love the scent garden in front of the Tao Health Center. So wonderful. The staff is very nice. The kitchen fantastic. I found peace and myself there again. I would be happy to come back. P.S.: You can't miss the cute farm shop, where you can find wonderful teas, literature, vegan or vegetarian foods and various accessories. This place is something very special.
