A Christian institution - several guest houses - very good service - very good cuisine - rooms are also very good.Beautiful group rooms and beautiful grounds.The train passing nearby could be disruptive.Suitable for set-up times / group trips as well as individual travelers and families.

A great group house! We were there for a self-help weekend with 20 families (65 people in total). The house has charm, the location is perfect, the view of Bastei and the rocks of Saxon Switzerland are impressive and the team is very uncomplicated and flexible. The food is delicious and very varied, and special requests were catered for. The participants felt very comfortable.

It is a beautiful accommodation with generous open space at the barbecue area so you can grill even in bad weather.The grill packages, also vegetarian, are rich and very tasty. As a hiking group of 12 people, we felt like we were in good hands. It was all great and a good starting point for hikes in Saxon Switzerland.

Depending on the house, it was different in terms of beauty and experience. The barracks are great for smaller school trips or seminar trips in the summer and the castle is nice for family preparation times or similar. In general, the food was incredibly good! This can hardly be topped!

We were in the Friedensburg with 25 people for our annual planning. It was great all around. There are three large group rooms, many rooms and the Friedensburg itself is an experience in itself. Great mood!The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and just right for us. We grilled and were able to be very flexible.The large group room was equipped with a projector, sound system and a screen. There were lots of great seating options spread throughout the house.The location was great. Three minutes from the S-Bahn and in the middle of nature.We have already inquired for next year - we will be back. Absolute recommendation!

Very friendly and inexpensive guesthouse in an optimal location. The rooms are clean and neatly furnished. Sure, it's not a luxury accommodation, but it's very nice and friendly. The facilities on site with deckchairs, a playground, table tennis, table football and a small pool table and a library, as well as a living room as common areas are great. The WiFi works well, the food was good home cooking at a reasonable price. We can only recommend the house.Small things can still be improved: a hairdryer in every room, for example, would be desirable (but can be borrowed at the reception) and the opening hours of the reception could be extended a little.

Very inexpensive, clean and beautifully located accommodation. Since there is hardly any evening or nightlife in Rathen, our hosts have a well-equipped bar with fair prices and a trusted cash register. Billiards, table football and a library are also available. So absolutely recommended!

Beautiful guest house with a view of the Elbe and Bastei. We had a pleasant stay in the house with the conference group. You can end the evening comfortably around the campfire in the outdoor area.

We stayed in the Friedensburg with a fantastic view of the Elbe and Bastei. We had a really great stay with the group and we really enjoyed the landscape and nature around us. 🌷🌱🪻🌳⛅️
