I can only agree with the previous reviews. Old musty to smelly, poorly maintained and a mattress that felt like it was 30 years old. I should have checked to see if there were still three parts ;-)Conclusion: AVOID!

We were guests in Pirna for the first time and booked an overnight stay in the city center. The guesthouse belonging to the “Casa Italiana” was a few steps away from the main house. Our arrival was problem-free and about 60 minutes before the check-in time of 3 p.m. It was not possible to enter the room early, it still had to be prepared, was the monosyllable information from the taciturn receptionist. A short stroll through town bridged the waiting time. We were given the key to the room without directions to the house. So we were initially left alone with our luggage in the deserted house. Of course, when you're looking for rooms, you can also get to places you might not otherwise get to. No matter, the floors we walked through made a more than neglected impression: bulky waste, dirt, cobwebs...We found our room after wandering around. It was more than simply furnished: bed, mini wooden table, 2 chairs, closet, no WiFi... that was it. There was a television about 17'' in size hanging on the wall. Bathroom with no window, no shower room or other toiletries. Cleanliness was also neglected here. The rickety closet had plenty of storage space. The next morning we had to go to a third building for breakfast. Everything is available from savory to sweet, clear but tasty. Conclusion: our friend who booked the accommodation apologized to us for it. After we gave her comforting words, it was forgotten. Youth hostels are more comfortable, cleaner and more welcoming. Pirna is nice, Casa Italiana is not!

We were there once years ago and were completely satisfied back then, but this time the stay was a complete disappointment - the cleanliness left a lot to be desired, especially the toilet.

I booked this guesthouse for one night through TouristService Pirna. Unfortunately, this guesthouse has been largely forgotten. The actual hotel is across the street and if no one cares then this is the result. The room simply smelled stale, more like sweaty feet and unfortunately the smell didn't go away even after airing it out for a long time. Pirna is such a beautiful city, but if you are looking for somewhere to stay, please don't take this guesthouse. The many reviews speak for themselves and someone should actually take action to create more repetitions. Also a greeting to the TouristService in Pirna. The guesthouse is not recommended because it simply lacks the right hand.

Booked a single room, nice and fresh room. Good bed, towels, no soap or shower soap. No elevator. Good breakfast in hotel Romantic around the corner. Price quality ok.

Were there over the Christmas holidays. We booked the double room through the guesthouse and were a little surprised that we got the key in the German house. The gentleman at the reception showed us our room and said we had to go through the door, through the courtyard and then upstairs. When we found it, we were a little surprised about the room. Heating off, strange smell, there were strange hairs in the towels, bed linen had holes, and impersonal. Luckily we were only in the room to sleep. For 30€ per night you can't expect much but it should be clean and in order. Never again!

Had a good experience with the Romantik Hotel and therefore stayed in the Casa Italiana on the second visit following a recommendation from the Romantik Hotel. When I asked what was different from the Romantik Hotel, I was told that it didn't have such modern furniture. That's not quite true...If you like to live 20 years back, put your things (very little storage space in addition to dirty cupboards or wall hooks that are too deep, loose so that the towels end up on the floor again) on a carpet, no matter how old and dirty, or on two pushed together instead of on a double bed Single beds with column sleeps, this is the place for you! In the neighboring country it's ok for 20 - 30 euros per night. For 90 euros per night that is simply too much! Families with small children are strongly discouraged. We moved back to the Romantik Hotel as soon as possible. Not going to Casa Italiana again. The Romantik Hotel has to be careful not to recommend this guesthouse without a note. Not every guest is different!

We had booked at Casa Italiana, despite the bad rating on Google, but we couldn't find anything in Pirna. which was conveniently located. The restaurant was currently on holiday, so we can only rate the accommodation. We got the key in the German House, we were told how to get to our room and also the way to the parking lot. The way to the room on the 3rd floor was a bit difficult, it is an old house and a bit winding, and the number of rooms starts at the top.The room was large, bright and clean. The beds were good, the bathroom was fine. When it comes to room furnishings you have to take the price into account, you can't expect luxury. We were very satisfied, the ladies who served breakfast in the German House also cleaned our room later and we are sure that the friendly and competent staff would have been happy to fulfill any special requests quickly. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

We wanted to book at the romantic hotel, which referred us to the in-house Casa Italiana.Found room at Casa Italiana after some back and forth. No signage, which is urgently needed. The room gets 0 stars. There are cobwebs in every nook and cranny, the carpeting urgently needs to be changed. Shower cubicle needs to be renovated or changed. Used uncleaned dusty glass flower vase on the cupboard. Since we were pressed for time, we didn't complain immediately and asked for another room, which I would normally have done immediately. My comment about the condition of the room when I left was responded to calmly. "I'll tell the housekeeper." No apologies, no regrets etc. Breakfast was excellent - but not a priority for us.
