This nice inn has a few rooms for rent. We stayed for a hike. The room was immaculate. Well, my bed in the family room was creaking. But that was it. Bedding is soft, the deck is warm and cozy. The innkeepers are very nice. Price-performance ratio unbeatable. The home-style cuisine tastes excellent and is well attended. Therefore highly recommended.

Great guesthouse with friendly and helpful staff. I was there for a week hiking. It is very centrally located by car, but I was also able to travel easily using public transport. The breakfast is very good and in the evening in the inn you are also provided with delicious food.

We spent our annual “tailor meeting” again in Saxon Switzerland and stayed overnight in the “Säge” again. We felt extremely comfortable there. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the sleeping comfort far exceeds that of many 4-star hotels.The breakfast is extremely rich and offers a large selection of regional specialties. There is also a restaurant on the farm that offers very tasty and inexpensive food. Everything is freshly prepared and the entire staff is extremely friendly.I give it 5 stars and unreservedly recommend the “Säge” as an insider tip for a stay in Saxon Switzerland.

We were there for lunch on Sunday. Luckily we had reserved a table.We currently rarely see a restaurant that is so well attended. Reason:The food is very tasty, the prices are very good, the service is friendly and quick.Unrestricted recommendation!But please reserve in advance to be on the safe side.

Wonderful dining room with outdoor seating, competent, polite and quick staff. Warm and nice owners who are also very, very hardworking.Lots of nice, clean rooms available, reservations advisable. The food is hearty and delicious. Little Saxon Switzerland is right in the immediate vicinity. A real insider tip.Lots of excursion options!!

A bit hidden, but very idyllic. Beautiful guest room. The food comes quickly and tastes very good. The beef steak is juicy pink and tender like butter. You have to try the cake with rhubarb pie. Melts in your mouth. A farm shop with sausages and meat from our own production. So in any case, clear recommendation.

We had lunch yesterday and I absolutely can't understand the good reviews... The atmosphere is beautiful, yes. However, the food was not tasty. My child ate potatoes with quark and the quark was just pure... without salt, pepper, herbs... We don't need to talk about the meat. It just tasted old. Too bad! We were very disappointed!

Very good restaurant, you can recommend all the dishes here, roulades, cabbage wraps, goulash and much more. Price performance great. We couldn't rate the rooms, they were only for eating, but we found out from guests that everything was great, which is why it's 4 stars.

We were with the hiking group (18 people) next door in the Little Saxon Switzerland miniature park and went to the restaurant for lunch. We were registered, but despite the many other guests you can only take your hat off. A huge compliment to the friendly team. There is a good selection of dishes and they are plentiful and delicious. It's worth stopping here.

The tense staff situation couldn't be the only reason why we were ignored by the waiter today. The table was no worse than the one where it was preferred. It's a shame, motivation for future visits will be in the basement for a while.

Excellent inn. We visited the Miniaturland next door and stopped in for lunch. Interior small but nice, tasteful ambience. Outdoor area available. Diverse selection on the menu. Home-style regional cuisine. There is a play area for children outside, and there are books and art supplies for children inside. Extremely attentive, helpful and friendly staff. The waiting time for food was very short, even though there were many guests. From our point of view, the food itself left nothing to be desired. The portions were generous, including the children's meals. The dishes were appetizingly prepared and fresh products were skillfully prepared into tasty meals. The prices were more than reasonable. We felt very comfortable - thank you very much. So if you are in the area and want to eat well, a detour is definitely recommended.
