That was our first, but certainly not last, visit to the Hocksteinschänke! From the first booking request to the farewell on the day of departure, just pure friendliness. And not fake, but honest, with genuine interest in the guest and also his loved one. Wishes were read from your eyes, just great.It started when we arrived, we arrived shortly before the kitchen closed, but there was still a full menu with everything. Afterwards, we calmly discussed which barf menu our dog would like for the next day and a few personal words were also exchanged.The next morning a great and extensive breakfast, with fresh eggs of your choice and a view that is simply amazing. What makes this accommodation perfect, at least from my point of view, are the owners and the employees. Despite the stress, always friendliness in person, always a word left for the guest! This is how you win new fans!I could probably go on forever, but I would suggest you see for yourself!We booked again straight away and will come back!

We used to love the food. There seems to be a new chef working. Easy as pie, croissant noodles, terrible! Our brawn is no longer what we enjoyed two years ago. Too bad

A wonderful restaurant. When you enter the room there is a real wow factor!! Very nicely decorated with attention to detail. The service staff was very friendly and attentive. The taste of the food was also at a very high level. The fact that the card is not too big also shows that quality is important. We left happy, full and very satisfied.

We are still excited about today's visit to the Hocksteinschänke. Despite the high number of visitors on Sunday, it was still possible to reserve a table at short notice by telephone. Everything is just right here. A wonderful ambience, super friendly and attentive staff, as well as a top menu of the highest quality. Thank you for the lovely time with you. We'll definitely come back soon. Keep it up!!!

Hocksteinschänke, always worth a trip or meal. Have celebrated a birthday here several times. A very nice atmosphere in the wooden building, where you enjoy spending time. The food was absolutely top quality and everyone enjoyed it very much, both starters and the main course!!! Price-performance ratio is definitely right, and the staff were always attentive, friendly and came by several times to ask questions, even though there was a lot to do as every table was full. We will definitely be guests here again!!!

I am very enthusiastic about the food at the Hocksteinschänke, very good. I can only recommend it, but please make a reservation as it is fully booked. The view is wonderful.Of course, I have to recommend visiting Saxon Switzerland for beautiful hiking trips. There are beautiful hiking trails that want to be well used.Reserve your table at the Hocksreinschänke and see for yourself.

The ambience is simply brilliant and is worth a visit. A very loving, rustic facility. And now let's get to the food. The dishes are very tastefully prepared. We were in the restaurant 3 times and all 3 times it was very tasty 😋 so no flash in the pan!!! What I don't want to forget is the very attentive staff. Thanks alot. We would love to come back.
