We and our dog Milo were guests of Elke and Ralph for 10 days in mid-September 2024.The hosts Elke and Ralph are very nice, funny, uncomplicated, very personable, helpful and always available for a chat. For us humanoids it was really very nice. (What our grandpa Milo thinks about the "wrecking ball" Gustav has not been researched in detail, but the four-legged friends ultimately got around each other perfectly.)The holiday apartment is located on the ground floor of an old country house with its own entrance. The rooms are all very comfortable and stylishly furnished, as befits an old house. The kitchen is also furnished and equipped for a longer stay, at least we didn't miss anything. The bathroom with the old tiles, brilliantly implemented! The large shower is awesome. The dining and living rooms are also very comfortable and great for “chilling out” thanks to the sofa bed.In the village there is a bakery within walking distance (unfortunately company holidays during our stay) and a farm with really delicious meat products (on Thursday there is fresh meat sausage, the canned liver sausage and the salamis are also very tasty).It's a shame that the lake currently has no water, but it's no problem for us either - we know what a lake looks like. The laps around the lake were always great, both with the dog and the morning run.It takes 5 minutes to walk from the holiday apartment to the lake, and you'll be rewarded with a pretty nice park in the town. From Thursday to Sunday there is a small kiosk open on the path around the lake and the Frikandel(le) from the Dutchman at the campsite are also delicious.Our conclusion remains, great landlords (including a great four-legged friend), great holiday apartment, great place and the Westerwald, yes, you don't really need to say anything about it.Perfect holiday, we will do our best to spend a few days here again next year.

We stayed in the Wiesensee holiday apartment with our dog for 10 days in September 2023. We didn't miss anything. Everything you needed was there. We were also able to use the garden area with our dog. The owners are very friendly.The price is also more than fair.We can only recommend this holiday home.Best regards

For four months, from November 2022 to February 2023, I was a guest of Elke and Ralph Zimmermann in the Ferienwohnung-Wiesensee. From the first hour I felt at home in the fine farmhouse. The charming apartment, furnished with a lot of love, offers everything you need, even for such a long stay. The kitchen is fully equipped. The living room is cozy with a sofa and dining area and here too there are many small and large light sources to play with the lighting. The bedroom is huge and I really liked the large and funny shower in the bathroom. And also sooo beautiful: there are pictures hanging in every room... everything is imaginative and nothing is 0-8-15...I had a small problem: There are no washing machines and laundromats are rare in the area - luckily my solution was my “Wäller” friends.My stay with my dog was extremely stress-free in every respect. Certainly also because Elke and Ralph are very relaxed and helpful and are very supported in all matters by their three pugs.Even in this flowerless winter time, the well-fenced garden always had something new to offer me. Elke has a golden touch for decoration and she regularly feeds the birds, squirrels and other animals. It was too cozy to watch this from the kitchen window with my dog.Unfortunately, I didn't see enough of the garden with the many blooming roses and the Westerwald and definitely have to come back in the warm season. Dear Elke and Ralph, I look forward to seeing you again!

The holiday apartment is super cozy and tastefully furnished, everything is very clean and well maintained and includes everything you need for a relaxing break. If you follow the stream that starts on the opposite side of the street, you will be directly at the Wiesensee in about 200m. We really liked it there and the hosts were very open and accommodating - we would be happy to come back at any time.

Hello...We spent a great time in a super nice apartment in Pottum over Pentecost.The all-round package was right. Starting with the stylishly furnished apartment, through to the very nice and warm hosts who made you feel very welcome. Whether with a chat in and about the great garden, as well as one or two tips for spending your free time, the hosts made it very easy for you to feel almost at home...Thank you for that...We can highly recommend it will definitely book again...
