We spent a wonderful holiday in the Alte Schmiede. The hosts are super nice and helpful. The house is rustic and comfortably furnished. Nothing is missing. Here you can relax wonderfully. The cottage has everything you need and more. The garden is fenced, great for the dog. There are beautiful hiking trails in the area. Highly recommended! The icing on the cake is the very sweet owners who live next door.

Very cozy holiday home. It is a renovated smitse with a complete kitchen, spacious bathroom and one bedroom. Front and backyard fenced so dogs can run free. And Andrea is a perfect hostess. Super clean!

We were at the blacksmith shop over New Year's Eve. Had the need for peace and relaxation. It was so pleasant that we booked again for New Year's Eve. A beautiful house and the owners are very friendly and personable. Dogs are welcome!

We spent a very nice week in the "Alte Schmiede" with our dogs and got to know a nice, helpful hostess.The holiday home is cozy and well-equipped. It is in a quiet, idyllic location with many easily accessible excursion destinations. We'd love to come back!

We had a wonderful 4 days and were very happy with everything! Ms. Doeren is a very kind host and the old forge is a dream! During the day we had very nice hikes and were also on the Geierlei Bridge and we enjoyed the evenings by the fireplace!!! Our dog Max also felt very comfortable there!
