Ms. Portugal is a super nice host and very attentive. I had initially booked another hostel because it was occupied, but she contacted me immediately when an announcement came. Everything was super clean, small and nice! And the breakfast was generous! We will definitely come back when it's convenient and also pass on appropriate recommendations.Thank you for the great hospitality!

Nice reception, everything clean and tidy. Room functionally furnished, bed was ok, but we had to make it ourselves. Blinds were not allowed to be pulled all the way up. Bathroom is very small, or we are too big.Breakfast was ok.Located on a side street and therefore very quiet. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right - too expensive.

My wife and I spent a few lovely days here in July 2024. The hostess, Ms. Portugall, is a friendly and very nice woman.We would like to recommend this guesthouse to everyone who is looking for accommodation near Cochem!

The two of us visited the Moselle region between Bernkastel-Kues and Cochem over a long weekend. Booking by telephone is friendly and uncomplicated. We were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Portugall and this warmth never waned. The room was large, equipped with everything, clean and quiet. The breakfast was rich, varied and prepared with love. The house is not directly on the main street, but you can quickly get to your destinations. The price is completely reasonable.Conclusion: Absolutely recommended.

Very friendly hostess. Delicious and rich breakfast. The room was functionally furnished, clean and quiet. The bed in particular was above average comfortable. Fast and stable WiFi. We would love to come back in the warmer season.

We were there for a long weekend. A friendly welcome from Mrs. Portugall, very nice room to feel comfortable in. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The pension is centrally located and you can do a lot from there. Even though we had to leave a little earlier, we liked it and would like to come back.

Good location for exploring the area, super nice operator and large, comfortable rooms. The breakfast is good and the breakfast room is very pleasant. We felt very comfortable. Recommended!

The very quiet area encourages you to go for walks. The rooms are spacious, nice, clean and heated. Delicious breakfasts on site, mostly made from local products. Very nice and helpful owner. It is worth asking about the 'Gäste Ticket' which gives you free bus travel and discounts on tourist attractions. Parking at the house and a bus stop 2 minutes on foot. The rooms offer a view of the mountains, river and Beilstein Castle. I didn't use wi-fi. Possibility to stay with a small child, although you must have your own bed. I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back to this place :)
